Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane were crowned the winner of season 18 of America’s Got Talent during a two-hour live finale on NBC.
The results finale episode also featured epic performances from Jared Leto, Leona Lewis, Diane Warren, Jon Batiste and Jason Derulo.
Adrian, 45, and Hurricane’s dog show act won the $1 million prize and the opportunity to headline a show in Las Vegas.
The crowd cheered and confetti fell down for the act from Turin, Italy as Adrian hugged and kissed his dog Hurricane, a border collie.
Earlier in the show host Terry Crews, 54, announced that because Adrian and Hurricane loved food they were paired with Celebrity Chef Cat Cora for a hilarious cooking segment.

Cat made them a classic pasta primavera and Hurricane helped by eating some of the food, shared a piece of pasta with Cat, stole utensils and messed the kitchen up.
‘Hurricane is like me in the kitchen,’ Terry said.
‘Cardistry’ magician Anna DeGuzman, 24, came in second place.
Murmuration, the 64-member dance group from France, finished in third place. Howie Mandel, 67, was shocked after choosing them for his Golden Buzzer pick.
Heidi Klum, 50, told them that they were all amazing and wished them luck.
Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer winner, 17-year-old blind singer-songwriter Putri Ariani from Indonesia finished in fourth place. Simon, 63, looked stunned when the news was announced and the crowd booed.
‘At the end of the day, it’s a competition, but let me tell you something Putri, nobody can take away the fact that you are an amazing, amazing singer and performer and a person,’ Simon said. ‘Many, many, many artists that I’ve worked with haven’t won these competitions but have gone on to do amazing things. I really genuinely believe the same thing is going to happen for you.’
The Ramadhani Brothers, a dangerous gymnastic act made up of two brothers from Tanzania, finished in fifth place.

‘You have shown the world how amazing you are,’ Heidi said. ‘I’ve fallen in love with you, so many people around the world have fallen in love with you. I know this is not the end, this is the beginning.’
The star-studded show opened with a performance from 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus, a military choir of service men and women from Fort Liberty, North Carolina. They were one of the 11 acts in the finale who performed on Tuesday hoping to win.
All the acts also participated in a fun dance number that appeared to be choreographed by Avantgardey, the 20-girl group from Japan, who danced around the acts in their matching school girl styled outfits.
The show also featured some amazing duets with the contestants. The first to take the stage was Heidi’s Golden Buzzer winner Lavender D’arcangelo from Leominster, Massachusetts who is blind and autistic, who sang with legendary songwriter Diane Warren, 67. Diane played the piano while Lavender sang Diane’s song Only Love Can Hurt Like This. The crowd cheered for them when they finished.
‘You are amazing, that was an amazing performance,’ Diane said.
Singer Jason Derulo took the stage and sang his new single Hands On Me with the 64-member dance group Murmuration from France moving to the beat behind him.
‘You guys are unbelievable,’ Jason said to Murmuration.
Mute stand-up comedian Ahren Belisle, 28, a software engineer and mental health advocate from Canada, played jokes on other judges using a phone that had Simon’s voice on it.

Singer Jon Batiste performed his song Worship with Golden Buzzer winners Mzansi Youth Choir from South Africa. Putri stunned the crown performing with singer Leona Lewis, 38, who wore a glamorous white gown, as they both sang Snow Patrol’s hit song Run.
‘You are just incredible and you are just an absolute gift to the world,’ Leona said to Putri. ‘Don’t listen to anything Simon has to say.’
Terry also announced that an AGT Fantasy League will air on NBC with the judges competing against each other by taking acts under their wings and mentoring them.
Sofia Vergara, 51, said she couldn’t be part of it but that Spice Girl Mel B would sit in for her. Sofia said she would return for the next season of AGT.
‘I did miss you,’ Simon said to Mel B. ‘I’m sort of happy you are back.’
When Simon told her it was always great to have ‘someone judging the talent who doesn’t have that much talent.’ Mel B responded by pouring her drink over Simon and walking off.
‘Is the contract signed?’ Simon said. ‘This is going to be fun.’
The Ramadhani Brothers took to the stage along with Group Golden Buzzer winners Chibi Unity, the dance group from Japan, while Jared Leto, in a black see-through shirt, and his brother Shannon Leto of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars performed their song Struck.

Terry asked Jared what he wanted to say to the acts.
‘I just want to say well done, amazing work and keep kicking a**,’ Jared said.
Season 17 champions the Mayyas, a 36-member female dance group from Beirut, Lebanon, came out for the finale and performed a mesmerizing routine waving colorful feathers and scarves.
The judges and the audience gave them a standing ovation when they finished. They told the audience they were so happy to be back on the AGT stage.

Even though Golden Buzzer winners Mzansi Youth Choir from South Africa were eliminated they were ecstatic when Terry told them that the band Coldplay was playing a sold out show in San Diego and got in touch and wanted the Mzansi Youth Choir to join them and perform on stage.
America’s Got Talent first premiered in June 2006 on NBC.
Simon created the international franchise and in addition to being a judge also is an executive producer of America’s Got Talent.
Olate Dogs won season seven of America’s Got Talent in 2012.
