America’s Got Talent: Heidi Klum admits to fellow judge Sofia Vergara that she wants another baby

Heidi Klum told Sofia Vergara that she wanted a fifth child on Tuesday’s episode of America’s Got Talent after a contestant’s adorable toddler made his way onstage.

‘I kind of want one more tiny one,’ Heidi, 47, told her fellow judge, Sofia, also 47, as Jeremiah Ray ambled out before his mother Cristina Rae’s audition.

‘A baby?’ Sofia asked the German model, laughing. ‘You have four!’

‘Yeah,’ acknowledged Heidi, the mother of Leni, 15, Henry, 14, Johan, 13, and Lou, 10.

Heidi, who married rock guitarist Tom Kaulitz, 30, in 2019, pressed her Golden Buzzer moments later for Cristina.

The singer from Nashville blew everyone away with her cover of The Rolling Stones’ Gimme Shelter.

Cristina, a single mom who’d lived in her car while pregnant with Jeremiah, gave an audition that prompted judge Simon Cowell, 60, to call her voice ‘insanely good.’

‘There is absolutely no point making shows like this unless we find people like you,’ noted franchise creator and judge Simon.

‘Heidi, what do you think?’ judge Howie Mandel, 64, asked the AGT veteran.

‘I think you are absolutely out of this world,’ Heidi told Cristina. ‘My heart is racing for you right now, it really is.’

‘Are you ready for this right now?’ she continued, pointing to the Golden Buzzer. ‘Because I’m ready to push this button for you.’

Cristina began weeping as Heidi screamed, ‘Are you ready for this? I’m ready for this!’ and slammed the button, unleashing golden confetti on the stage.

The contestant fell to her knees as Heidi rushed to the stage, telling her how amazing she was.

‘You’re gonna win this,’ she affirmed, as Jeremiah hugged his mom and gave Heidi a high-five.

Cristina initially failed to wow the judges with her first song, Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight.

Simon asked her to do another song, and at first it seemed as though she might not make it.

Cristina’s rendition of Gimme Shelter, however, gave the crowd chills, and led Simon to offer her a thumbs-up, as host Terry Crews, 51, held Jeremiah’s hand in the wings.

The title of the song had resonance for Cristina, who had a job doing liposuction and body sculpting treatments in Nashville, but was once homeless when pregnant.

More than anything, she said, she wanted a home of her own, with a room just for Jeremiah.

‘I want you think of this building… and that stage, as your house,’ Howie told her when they met.

‘This is a lovely house,’ Cristina agreed.

After her performance, Howie agreed with everyone else that she’d ‘blown the roof off’ the place.

Heidi gave Jeremiah a box with golden confetti in it, telling him they’d make more memories together when she saw him again on the show.

And she wasn’t the only one to reveal something about herself as a mother during the program.

Simon said at one point said that the contestants appearing on season 15 of AGT had largely been ‘good people,’ and he seemed amazed by their ingenuity.

‘I didn’t expect that,’ said Heidi, relaying her shock after seeing the San Diego native twist her head and limbs around, then walk back and forth with horrifying ease.

Sofia told Heidi that she could bend her body backward to touch the floor behind her, and Heidi showed off her own ability to make her fingers jut out at hard angles.

The next act through was Resound, a trio of singers from Richmond, Virginia, who’d quit their jobs to pursue music and wowed with their cover of What the World Needs Now Is Love.

Just seconds into their song, the entire audience stood up in unison and applauded them, while Heidi appeared to choke back tears and Simon stood, too, offering another thumbs-up.

‘Your joy of performing was infectious,’ he told the trio, calling them ‘beautifully old-school.’

Sofia said she wanted to get married all over again just so they could sing her down the aisle.

Amanda LaCount, 19, from Los Angeles, gained fans with her choreography to Todrick Hall’s Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels, after saying she’d struggled in the industry for being plus-size.

While Heidi X’d Amanda out, Sofia voted for her and Simon said he ‘loved every moment of the audition,’ even standing up to get the audience cheering until Howie voted yes, too.

Daneliya Tuleshova, 13, from Kazakhstan, then belted Faouzia’s Tears Of Gold as though she were a veteran, with Howie saying that the shy girl ‘blossomed in front of our eyes.’

Marty Ross, 80, from Santa Clarita, California, endeared himself to the judges with jokes about elderly drivers, dying early, and mishearing a woman who said she had a ‘peanut allergy.’

‘I have three ex-wives, so that means I need a million dollars as soon as possible,’ Marty told the audience, when asked why he’d decided to go on AGT.

Simon thought Marty’s act was hysterical, spitting out his drink at one point he was laughing so hard, and the rest of the audience also gave the comedian a standing ovation.

‘You are likable, and there is a place for you in this world of comedy,’ Howie told Marty.

Celina Graves, 30, from San Diego, said she’d gotten flak as a kid for being ‘tomboyish,’ and as an adult, felt judged by people who thought she might be some kind of criminal.

She worked security for a casino and was hoping to become a law-enforcement officer, but she really wanted to stop being judged by others, she told the crowd.

Her rendition of Shawn Mendes’ Mercy was so powerful, she got ‘four massive yeses’ from the judges, with Sofia telling her, ‘You have the name of a star. I felt what you were feeling.’

Magic duo The Demented Brothers, from France, amused the audience, mixing comedy and simple sleight-of-hand gags to earn themselves a pass through to the next round.

‘This could be kind of fun, in between meals, on a cruise ship,’ offered Sofia, the linchpin vote.

Indian dancers Rehan Khan, nine, and Shakir Khan, 21, charmed the audience with their sweet act, which found Shakhid flipping his cousin to Kodaline’s hit song Brother.

‘People are going to root for you,’ Simon predicted, as the duo went through.

Some acts didn’t do as well as others.

David Rush stupefied the judges by promising to break the world record for ‘the most T-shirts worn and torn in one minute,’ and challenged Terry to compete against him.

The Boise, Idaho resident already had broken more than 125 world records, and he beat the former NFL star in ripping through 30 shirts in a minute—setting a new record.

‘I’m not worthy!’ Terry cried as he flexed his pectorals to the crowd’s delight.

The judges, however, weren’t feeling David, even after he suggested that he’d slice kiwi with a samurai sword while balancing on a Swiss ball for his next act.

‘I don’t like kiwi,’ Sofia complained.

America’s Got Talent will return next week on NBC.

The auditions episode was taped with a studio audience before the talent competition show suspended production due to the coronavirus pandemic.
