Amy Szepanowski doesn’t disclose result of Covid-19 test, says it’s a ‘flu’ sickness

A Gold Coast ‘wellness influencer’ announced she was going to take a Covid-19 test after suffering from flu-like symptoms, only to keep the result to herself and tell fans she had an unspecified illness.

Amy Szepanowski, 25, a self-described ‘holistic health coach’, told her Instagram followers she was taking a rapid antigen test after experiencing several symptoms of coronavirus, including a fever, body aches, headache, and mild ear and throat pain.

However, she did not disclose the result.

The saga began last week when she said on Instagram she was feeling under the weather and shared a screenshot of her iPhone Notes app with a list of her symptoms, and vowed to get over her sickness ‘in a day or two’.

‘Wednesday prediction: I remember feeling this way in primary school and it would go away in a day or two. I CAN DO THIS,’ she wrote.

Ms Szepanowski, who is the sister of fellow influencers Kate and Chloe Szepanowski, went on to say she ‘wasn’t sure whether she had Covid or not’ and was going to do a rapid antigen test that afternoon.

However, she never publicly revealed the result of this test, and instead continued to refer to her condition as a ‘sickness’.

The businesswoman, who charges $200 for a 60-minute online life coaching consultation, also described her Covid-19 symptoms as a ‘sickness’ during an Instagram video filmed from her couch last Wednesday.

Ms Szepanowski’s sister Kate also recently said she was recovering from an unspecified sickness.

Kate, who often peddles conspiracy theories online and previously referred to the Covid vaccine as ‘poison’, refused to refer to her illness by name.

She instead advised her fans to ‘get out in the sun’, ‘eat vegetables’ and ‘visit Top Juice to buy a ginger shot for $4’.

Their other sister, Chloe Szepanowski, faced backlash in August when she went shopping without a face mask on the Gold Coast at a time when they were mandatory in public spaces.
