Andrew Shue wipes estranged wife Amy Robach from his Instagram

Just days after DailyMail.com exposed Amy Robach’s secret romance with GMA co-star T.J Holmes, her estranged husband Andrew Shue has wiped pictures of her from his Instagram. 

The 55-year-old has stayed tight-lipped on the revelation that Amy, 49, is in a relationship with T.J. Holmes, 45. But he had taken all photos of her down on Wednesday when the information came out.

Photos which featured on the Melrose Place star’s Instagram included a snap of the pair kissing in Nantucket, Massachusetts, in 2020, with the caption: ‘Incredible weather and view with my baby-take nothing for granted.’

He also shared other images including the couple after a run and dressed as Top Gun characters and a behind the scenes shot with Michael Strahan at GMA in 2021 which he took down. On the run image, he wrote: ‘Through rain- by the river- a run to celebrate life- Amy shows us all how to live- everyday- We are the luckiest.’

Robach and Holmes, who returned to GMA one day after their romance was revealed, pictured, are ‘not ashamed’ of their romance, a source told Page Six 

Shue took his wife off his Instagram after pictures were released of Holmes holding hands with her and enjoying drinks with her at a bar in New York. 

Holmes had been married to attorney Marilee Fiebig since 2010. Robach and Holmes, who returned to GMA one day after their romance was revealed, are ‘not ashamed’ of their romance, a source told Page Six.

Their first day back at work was described as ‘wonderful’ and insiders said both felt supported and loved by their colleagues. Neither have addressed the situation. 

A source said that both Holmes and Robach are ‘consenting adults who ended up loving each other.’ The duo, who had not seen each other since Tuesday, were said to be ‘kind of relieved’ that their relationship had come out although it was not in the way they imagined.

Speaking to PEOPLE, a source had previously said that the romance between Robach and Holmes did not start until after both had broken up with their spouses in August-within weeks of each other.

The source added that both ‘felt comfortable’ dating in the open and had nothing to hide because their partners had moved out and they were not hiding anything.

Both had been dealing with marital woes. There were rumors that Holmes had been unfaithful to his ex-wife Fiebig and they had marital problems over the years. 

While they reconciled, they were reportedly unable to make their marriage work and Holmes left the marital home four months ago. He had spoken to Amy for support and no one else had known he was divorcing Fiebig.

Elsewhere, Amy and Andrew had their own marital issues and they officially split six months ago, other sources said. 

They had reportedly tried to make their marriage work and were upset that they were separating.    

Meanwhile, Amy and T.J. worked together since 2014 and had a close friendship. Robach previously gushed about him, saying that she could not have asked for a better co-anchor and told PEOPLE that they had wanted to present together for years.  

Also, she spoke of their past double dates with their spouses and how her daughters babysat his daughters.

Although there was chemistry between the co-stars at work, their GMA colleagues were shocked to see the images of them, a source told PEOPLE.   

It had been rumored that the pair were having an affair around a year ago because of their mutual affection for each other but colleagues said it was friendship as Robach and Holmes said they were happily married. 

Sources said that now it is in the open that Robach and Holmes are dating, they do not feel that they owe anyone anything. They said that their relationship was a friendship which turned into something more.

Yesterday, on air, the day after the news of their relationship broke, Robach sat between Holmes and correspondent Jennifer Ashton, jumping straight into the broadcast. 

There was no discussion on her absence the day before and the show continued as normal. 

The hosts started the show with small talk and then moved onto news topics, not mentioning the relationship.

In the discussion, Holmes asked who was looking forward to the weekend. Robach responded that she was and Holmes responded: ‘Of course we are.’

The show progressed as usual, with Robach and Holmes presenting one segment on holiday baking without their correspondent Ashton.

They stood close together and giggled as they made cookies with chef Caroline Schiff.   

The show concluded without them acknowledging the romance.

Also on yesterday’s show, Holmes was seen without his wedding ring on. Robach has also not been wearing hers in recent weeks, DailyMail.com revealed recently.

Their romance has left the ABC network shocked. Holmes was yesterday due to fill in for host Michael Strahan on GMA’s morning show but decided not to, sources told DailyMail.com.  

The network has not addressed the relationship between the co-hosts. And Dailymail.com have learnt that despite the fact that Amy and Andrew have reportedly divorced, they have met with a mediator.
