‘I try to drink as much as possible,’ the Logie Award nominee spilled.

The comedian, who has been nominated for a number of the trophies in the past, said his boozy night is often followed by a ‘hair of the dog.’

Responding to a question about what the best thing about the next morning is, the entertainer said: ‘Water, I would say. Or probably a beer – hair of the dog.’

Later in the interview, handsome Andy admitted that he likes to sit next to his best friend and radio co-host, Hamish Blake.

‘You can gamble between the two of you on who can win what, and it makes time go by well,’ he said.

Andy is no stranger to the Logies.

He was nominated against his close pal Hamish Blake in 2015, with both competing for the Gold Logie.

However the coveted award went to The Project’s Carrie Bickmore.

This year, the Logies will be held at The Star on The Gold Coast, instead of its normal home in Melbourne.

The 60th Annual Logie Awards will be held on Sunday, July 1 with the ceremony screening on Channel Nine from 7pm.
