Angie Kent reveals she’s dating a cameraman working on her new show Space Invaders

Angie Kent is enjoying a new romance following a string of failed relationships.  

The Bachelorette star, 32, shared the news on her Two Girls One Pod podcast this week, revealing she went on a date with a cameraman over the weekend. 

Angie told her co-host Yvie Jones the pair met while working on her new Channel Nine show Space Invaders, but she was nervous about mixing work and pleasure. 

‘Yeah he’s lovely, I’m a big believer in not sh**ting where you eat. He is one of the cameramen on a show I’m on at the moment,’ she confessed. 

‘But you won’t be filming that show forever,’ Yvie replied, adding: ‘There’s going to be another season next year, but there will be breaks in between.’ 

Nevertheless, Angie said she was still feeling anxious about the possibility of ‘getting fired’ if the relationship doesn’t work out. 

‘I was like, ‘Well, one of us is going to have to go if this doesn’t work out… I don’t think it’s going to be me’, Angie joked, adding: ‘I mean, it could!’

‘You never know how good his skills are!’ Yvie laughed. 

Angie concluded the discussion by revealing she’s placed a strict caveat on her fledging new romance. 

‘I was just like, ‘We can hang out, but let’s not get sexual until after filming’s done,” she said.

Angie joined Nine’s show Space Invaders – which is in its third season – in August. 

She joins decluttering guru Peter Walsh and home renovator Cherie Barber in the series produced by WTFN. 

Angie’s last known relationship was with influencer Carlin Steritt, who she met on The Bachelorette in 2019.

The pair broke up in June 2020, less than a year after they began their relationship.

Angie has since slammed Carlin on her podcast, claiming that he wanted her to look ‘like a Barbie doll’ during their romance, and even said he refused to adopt an ‘ugly dog’ because it wasn’t ‘aesthetically pleasing’. 

Last year, Angie confirmed she was pansexual – attracted to a person regardless of their gender – and wished she was able to date women on her season of The Bachelorette.
