Angry Dad’s epic rant about Turnbull’s gay marriage vote

He’s known for setting social media alight with his reactions to being pranked by his two sons.

But it’s Mark ‘Angry Dad’ Orval’s seemingly common sense approach to the same sex marriage debate that has once again endeared him to his online fans.

The 49-year-old former AFL player has slammed the government’s decision to fork out $122 million to pay for the national postal vote, dubbing it pointless.

‘They’re spending $122 f***ing million to have us f***ing vote on whether they should be allowing gay marriage,’

‘Whose business is it of the f***ing politicians to say who can marry and can’t marry?

‘(It costs) $122 million and here’s us seeing sick kids with cancer today, and people are dying in their f***ing homes… these f***heads are spending $122 million.

‘Even then if the public, us, come back and say “mind you’re own business” like we should, they do not have to f***ing pass it through parliament.

‘So what’s the f***ing point? They should be dealing with real issues.’

Just not copping it: Orval asked, 'whose business is it of the f***ing politicians to say who can marry and can't marry'

Asked by his son Mitchell whether he would vote ‘yes’, Angry Dad’s response again seemingly summed up the views of many of his fans.

‘Absolutely I’m for it. It’s none of our business,’ he said.

‘But aside from that f***ing s**t, overwhelmingly the vote may come back “yes” or “no”, it doesn’t mean it has to pass through parliament.

‘They can just park it and say, “We now know how you think, but we’re not going to actually listen to you”.’

In less than 24 hours the video has gone viral online, watched more than 1.4 million times and shared by 21,000 others.
