An angry driver left a foul-mouthed note branding paramedics ‘a*******s’ for blocking them in as the crew fought to save their neighbour’s life.
The handwritten note was left on the windscreen of an ambulance in Manchester during a call-out to a critically ill patient.
The impatient author was miffed that they could not get out of their driveway as the medics assisted their neighbour.

They left a furious, expletive-ridden message scrawled on a piece of paper.
They wrote: ‘Thanks for blocking me in a******e. Just took me 20 mins to try and shunt out of drive along pavement.
‘So inconsiderate..whole road empty and block driveway. Your an a******e and I’m going to be late for work thanks to you d******d.’
In response to the note, North West Ambulance Service said: ‘We hate to get in the way but the needs of our patients are number one priority. Stop Abuse.’
A spokesperson added: ‘This note was left on an ambulance today in Manchester whilst ambulance clinicians were treating a critically ill patient.
‘We hate to get in the way but the needs of our patients are our number one priority and abuse like this is absolutely uncalled for.
‘A campaign has been launched by the ambulance service calling for people to £GetBehind999 and pledge their support to help stop abuse against emergency services.
