Ann Widdecombe transforms into Scary Spice for CBB task

As the housemates of Celebrity Big Brother start thinning out in numbers, BB has been setting some more light-hearted tasks for the final few days, including a silent disco and a mammoth spray tan session in recent days.

And the latest has seen the eight remaining celebs take reproduce iconic girl group performances – namely those of Destiny’s Child and the Spice Girls.

While Amanda Barrie, Shane Lynch and Malika Haqq were given Destiny’s Child hit Independent Woman to perform in the most recent task, the other five have been asked to put on a rendition of Spice Girls’ Wannabe – with Ann Widdecombe in the role of Scary Spice.

Taking on the classic role of Mel B, the former politician donned her finest leopard print and grimaced her way through the performance, while Jess Impiazzi, Courtney Act, Wayne Sleep and Ashley James portrayed Posh, Ginger, Baby and Sporty respectively.

Slipping into a typically tiny number – this time with a Union Jack emblazoned across it – Courtney took the part of Geri Horner, belting out her lines from the iconic debut single from the girl group.

She completed the look with knee-high red PVC boots and a ginger wig.

Waybe through on a sparkly pink dress and a blonde wig for the role of Emma Bunton and Jess mimicked Victoria Beckham in a classic LBD.

Finally, Ashley threw her best punches and high-kicks in a tracksuit for the role of Mel C.

Elsewhere, Malika took on the lead role of Beyonce for the Destiny’s Child performance.

This seemed to cheer up the best friend of Khloe Kardashian, who fled to the diary room in a new clip from the Channel 5 show, where she was found sobbing by Big Brother – desperate for news about her pregnant pal.

‘I want to know if she’s okay!’ Malika sobbed in the diary room and pleads for news about pregnant best friend Khloe Kardashian

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wept into her hands, saying through her sobs: ‘My best friend is pregnant and I haven’t talked to her in a month. This is hard for me.’

She went on, through wails: ‘I want to know that she’s okay and she’s happy. I love all of them so much that I’m sitting here crying about it.’

Malika, 34, who is clearly finding things tough inside the house, went on to ponder the Big Brother experience as a whole, saying: ‘I know that when I leave I’ll be able to reflect on my time here very differently than while I’m in here

‘And I think that’s part of the process or making changes and stepping outside of my comfort zone.

‘The closer I am to leaving I know how ready I am to leave.’

She later joined Ashley James in the bedroom, where she confided in the former Made In Chelsea star about her feelings.

‘My journey here has been a lot more challenging that I ever expected it to be for a multitude of reasons.

‘I cant forget life at home, I have a great life with great people in it. I am not being myself, not the best version of myself.’

She admitted that she ‘didn’t expect to feel this way’, but was sure to assure Ashley that ‘I have enjoyed getting to know you and others’.

Malika could well be leaving the house sooner than she thinks, as Tuesday night’s eviction will see three more housemates leave.

The housemates joining her for nomination are Ashley, Shene Jenek, Amanda Barrie, Shane Lynch and Ann Widdecombe.
