The 29-year-old Instagram star from California, who boats more than 1.3 million followers, revealed on Monday that she munched on some pizza, burgers, cookies, and wine — and she doesn’t regret it.

Anna is a firm believer in the 80/20 rule when it comes to eating, and she proudly shared before and after photos to show the dramatic change in the size of her stomach after the decadent ‘cheat meal’.

‘If you’re following 80/20 and you’re going hardcore on that 80, then you deserve to go just as hard on that 20, amiright? and NO GUILT ALLOWED!’ Anna captioned the side by side images.

Her ‘pre cheat meal’ photo sees her showing off her incredibly trim waist in a crop top as she strikes a pose on the street.

However, just a little while later, she unbuttoned her jeans to accommodate her bloated stomach in her ‘post cheat meal’ photo, which is an honest look at what happens to the body when you splurge a bit.

Anna is known for sharing these types of photos, and she noted that these types of ‘Bloated vs. Non-Bloated’ pictures have gained popularity in the last year, which is what she hoped would happen.

‘I personally started sharing these photos when I was feeling pressured to be “perfect” and conform to society and IG standards,’ she explained. ‘I wanted to show that you don’t have to and you can still love every bit of your perfectly imperfect self.

‘It was as therapeutic for me as it was for all of you and to see so many others sharing these types of photos has made me so happy knowing the positive impact it has on men and women of all ages.’

Anna went on to say that because these types of photos have become ‘trendy’, she has started to notice people negatively criticizing other for sharing them, claiming they are ‘attention-seeking’ and only looking to score likes and followers.

‘This makes me sad to see people criticizing those who are trying to make a positive impact or shift people’s perception about what is real on IG,’ she wrote. ‘If someone gets more followers or likes because of it, who cares? There’s a much bigger picture here.’

Anna explained that since she started sharing those types of pictures with her followers, she has received messages from girls who say they have helped save them from potential eating disorders and body dysmorphia.

‘Dub these photos “attention seeking” or “fake” while I continue focusing on the lives, hearts and souls they save,’ she added.

However, Anna noted that she doesn’t share these images often because she wants them to be ‘100 per cent genuine and in the moment’ when she shares them.

And while she admits to ‘hardcore’ posing in the first photo, she added that her stomach is naturally bloated and distended in the second image.

‘Let yourself live. Enjoy the meal. Drink tons of water after,’ she advised. ‘You’ll be bloated, yes. But the next day it will be gone and you’ll be right back on track slaying another week of that 80 per cent.’

Anna has become well known for her frank and revealing posts such as this one, and in the past she has shown that a cheat meal won’t ruin your progress and how   lighting can make all the difference when it comes to taking a selfie.

She has also proved that different angles can give you the appearance of a flat stomach and one that is covered in rolls.
