Anna Wintour’s daughter Bee Shaffer and her husband spent some time in Manhattan the day after tying the knot at the Vogue editor-in-chief’s sprawling Long Island property.
Bee, 30, and Francesco Carrozzini, 35, were spotted on Sunday strolling around the city and checking out of their hotel in Manhattan, wearing a variety of outfits throughout the day.
The pair wed on Saturday in Mastic. Bee, who was seen posing with her groom next to a rustic garden house on Lons Creek, wore a long-sleeved white gown with a square neckline paired with a cathedral-length veil, with her brown hair pulled back in a simple bun.

A source told DailyMail.com that Bee and Francesco were joined by several of their friends for a private after-party at the Bowery Hotel on Saturday night.
Exclusive pictures previously captured Bee and Francesco posing next to a rustic garden house on the water of Lons Creek, which runs alongside Anna’s Long Island property, for some romantic shots, with Bee standing in front of the camera in her long, white dress and veil.
They’re hitched! Anna Wintour’s daughter Bee Shaffer married Francesco Carrozzini on Saturday at her mother’s sprawling property on Long Island
Beautiful bride: The 30-year-old daughter of the Vogue Editor-in-Chief looked stunning in a long white silk dress
Traditional: The bride opted for a very classic silhouette for her wedding gown, which featured a square neckline, puff sleeves, and a nipped-in waist. The groom, meanwhile, appears to have worn a dark navy suit
Primped: Bee and Francesco, who is the son of late Vogue Italia Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani, appear to have had a team of stylists and makeup artists on-hand to help them as they posed for photographers and videographers
The bride opted to keep her dark brunette hair pulled back in a simple bun, and wore her cathedral-length veil hooked over the chic updo.
Bee chose a very traditional silhouette for her gown, wearing a perfectly-tailored silk design that accentuated her slim figure with a nipped-in waistline, while the square neckline showed off her decolletage. She added a fashionable flourish to the look courtesy of the long puff sleeves.
The bride has not yet confirmed which fashion house was behind the chic wedding gown, although she has not been known to show firm favor to any designer in particular when it comes to choosing red carpet looks. It is likely her gown was custom-made by a label that she has worn in the past, a list which includes an array of some of the world’s most pricey design houses.
For this year’s Met Gala, Bee wore a beautiful red gown by Valentino, while her mother donned Chanel, then at the Tony Awards last month, she wore a floral Alexander McQueen number, and Anna chose Prada. Bee also wore Alexander McQueen at last year’s Met Gala.
Meanwhile Francesco, the son of late Vogue Italia Editor-in-Chief Franca Sozzani, also appears to have gone with a classic look, wearing what looks like a dark navy suit on top of a white shirt, paired with a dark tie.
Bee can be seen in some of the images embracing her husband, resting her hands on his shoulders as he lays his around her waist.
The pair also appear to have had several flower girls; five young girls in pretty white short-sleeved dresses were pictured making their way to the same picturesque photo spot, with the entire group wearing matching white flower crowns in their hair.
Making it to their chosen photo shoot spot was certainly no easy feat, however; Bee and Francesco were at one point pictured making their way through an area of very tall grass, with the groom helping his new wife lift up the long train and veil of her dress, holding it high above the ground so as to avoid getting any stains on it prior to the pictures.
Once situated on the dock area, the pair posed happily together alongside a small summer house, complete with glass French windows. The images were snapped from all angles, with the bride and groom posing together, while Bee also took off her veil before standing solo for a few shots.
Casual: There were highs of 88 degrees on Saturday, and it seems the heat may have been a bit too much for Francesco, who removed his jacket at one point before putting it back on for pictures
Doting groom: Francesco happily helped his bride carry her long veil through the grass as they made their way to the rustic-looking photo spot
Stunning: Bee took off her long veil to pose for some solo shots, showing off the simple, chic back of her dress
Plenty of space! The wedding ceremony itself is thought to have taken place in the property’s shadow garden, while the couple took pictures outside the garden house, which is close to the edge of the water
The docking area looks out over Lons Creek, the body of water that runs from the Forge River and flows alongside much of Anna’s picturesque property, which she bought back in 1998, having given up her previous summer home in nearby Bellport.
She then expanded the 42-acre property when she purchased the neighboring home, a four-bedroom colonial-style house that came with a 540-foot waterfront area alongside Anna’s existing land.
The newlyweds! Bee and Francesco, pictured at the 2018 Met Ball, announced their engagement in March last year
Although the purchase was not reported until July 2013, it is though that the Vogue Editor-in-Chief snapped up the 5.9-acre second home as early as the summer of 2010.
Anna’s rustic gated retreat certainly serves as the perfect location for a summertime wedding – as evidenced by her son Charlie, 33, who wed his bride Elizabeth Cordry at the same location back in June 2014.
However, while images from Charlie and Elizabeth’s ceremony were shared almost immediately on Instagram by eager guests, there was a strict social media ban in place at Bee and Francesco’s nuptials.
It is possible that the duo may well be sharing an inside look at their wedding with Vogue, which would serve as a sweet send-off for Anna, who is rumored to be stepping down from her role as Editor-in-Chief after this year’s September issue has gone to press.
Although these rumors have yet to be confirmed by anyone at Vogue or its publisher Condé Nast – where Anna also serves as Artistic Director – many hailed Bee’s wedding as a prelude to the editrix’s alleged departure from the publication, after 30 years at the helm.
Rumors that Anna was planning to leave the magazine first began circulating in early April, when sources told Page Six that Anna would leave Vogue and Condé Nast – where she has served as Artistic Director since 2013 -after her daughter’s wedding.
Doing so would allow her to go out in style, ending her time at the company with the publication’s iconic September issue, which is usually revealed at the start of August.
This would give Anna just enough time to include her daughter’s wedding photos in the publication should the very private couple decide to share them with Vogue’s readers.
Bee, who often appears in Vogue’s party reports, could see one or several of her wedding photos published in the magazine if her mother decides to include the frames in what could be her final issue.
Bee and Francesco’s bash was shrouded in secrecy as some guests revealed ahead of the ceremony that a strict social media ban had been enforced for the duration of the event.
Nathalie Love, the daughter of Vogue West Coast editor Lisa Love, posted a series of photos on her Instagram Story, writing on top of the frames: ‘Bye. #nosocialmedia’ — suggesting she was on her way to the bash and thus had to shut off.
The end of an era? Anna is rumored to be leaving her position at Vogue after the September issue is published
In one of her social media frames, Nathalie can be seen posing with W Magazine’s style director Sara Moonves, cozying up to her in another snap marked ‘#nosocialmedia’.
Other guests included the likes of Vanity Fair and CNN correspondent Derek Blasberg, as well as Bee’s close friend Selby Drummond, who works at Vogue, and who was actually the first person to publicly reveal Bee’s engagement ring when she posted a candid picture of the bride-to-be flashing the diamond on her Instagram Story.
Interestingly, although there was a social media ban in place at the weedding – potentially to maximize the surprise element if and when the official images are shared publicly, be it in Vogue, or online – Bee couldn’t wait to update her own personal profile to reflect her newlywed status.
By first thing on Monday morning she had updated her username on Instagram to @beecarrozzini – perhaps a declaration to the world that she will be taking her new husband’s name and dropping the name Shaffer, which she takes from her father David, who was married to Anna from 1984 until 1999.
And while Bee isn’t a regular user of the photo-sharing app, she hasn’t shied away from sharing intimate glimpses at her private life.
Back in May, Bee was joined by Selby and several other close friends on a fun break in Tulum, Mexico, for what is thought to have been the bride’s bachelorette bash.
As well as Selby, who is Vogue’s accessories and special projects director, Bee was joined by the likes of Glee actress Dianna Agron, La Ligne CEO Molly Howard, Hill House Home CEO Nell Diamond, W Magazine Style Director Sara Moonves and Late Night With Seth Myers producer Sarah Jenks-Daly.
Many of the women shared cute snaps from the exotic getaway on social media, with Bee herself posting a group shot that showed her and her guests posing in matching bedazzled oneises, with the bride-to-be sitting front and center wearing a tiara.
Up-to-date: Despite not being a frequent user of Instagram, Bee updated her username almost immediately to reflect her new married status, suggesting she may well be planning to take her husband’s last name and drop her own
Fight the ban! Brave guests, including Nathalie Love (pictured) – the daughter of Vogue West Coast editor Lisa Love – posted photos on Instagram revealing there was a social media ban for the nuptials
However, while Bee is an occasional user of Instagram, her mother Anna is known for her desire to shield high-profile events from social media.
She enforces a similar ban each year during the Met Gala – although celebrities have been known to bend the rules when they can’t resist sharing some behind-the-scenes shots of the glamorous soiree.
Francesco and Bee announced their engagement in March last year, however prior to their engagement announcement, the two had kept their relationship mostly off the radar.
They were first rumored to be dating in October 2016, when they attended a screening of Francesco’s documentary about his mother, who served at the helm of Vogue Italia until her death in 2016, together.
The movie, Franca: Chaos & Creation, was directed by Francesco and documents the former Italian Vogue editor’s life, career, and impact on the world of fashion.
Franca, who is the focus of the film, passed away in December 2016, two months after the movie was released.
Bee and Francesco are believed to have started dating long before taking their relationship public.
The pair have attended the Met Gala together, and were photographed hand in hand during this year’s ball.
Giving her take on the theme Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, Bee chose to wear a floor-length, one-shoulder red gown with ruffles.
Francesco went for a simple black tuxedo with a white shirt and a black bow tie, though he wore red socks complementing his then-fiancee’s dress.
