Annabelle: Creation director keeps doll in guest bedroom

Annabelle topped box offices its first week out in theaters getting $71.7million globally and the creepy doll it stars is living quite the life herself.

The porcelain doll from Annabelle: Creations – which has gained $100million worldwide to this date – resides comfortably in director David Sandberg’s home in his guest room in Los Angeles, California.

‘Whenever we have guests, they don’t seem to want to have her around,’ Sandberg said to USA Today.

Sanberg, who is also the director for horror flick Lights Out, has one of the three Annabelle dolls from the movie.

One of the dolls was used for the scene before the wooden creation is possessed.

The second, did most of the film as the fully-possessed Annabelle – complete with insane, creepy eyes.

And the third was primarily used as a stunt double during production.

‘So when we throw Annabelle in the well and stuff like that, we used that version. And that’s the one I kept,’ he added.

Sandberg claims that after placing the doll in her new spot, there was some home destruction that took place. 'There were things falling from the ceiling. So that was weird,' said Sandberg

‘OG’ Annabelle was the seemingly harmless centerpiece housed in the Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut captured by paranormal researchers Ed and Lorraine Warren for who the film the Conjuring is based.

And while this doll was surely an evil one, Annabelle’s look was transformed into the sinister creation that sparked two spin-offs.

Sandberg claims that after placing the doll in her new spot, there was some home destruction that took place.

‘There were things falling from the ceiling. So that was weird,’ said Sandberg.

‘But she’s been behaving so far … at least when I’ve been around.’
