Anthony Joshua believes Tyson Fury is motivated by money in his comeback to the ring.
The ‘Gypsy King’ overcame Francesco Pianeta last month to set up a lucrative showdown with Deontay Wilder, after the American failed to agree terms to fight Joshua.
And the IBF, WBA and WBO champion offered a withering assessment of Fury’s strategy now that he’s back from the boxing wilderness.

He told Sky Sports: ‘Tyson Fury’s strategy is to put some money in the bank after a three-year lay-off,’ said Joshua.
‘He’ll continue talking rubbish as he does. In the long run, thunder strikes and it continues to strike.’
And AJ, who is defending his titles against Alexander Povetkin on September 22, rejected the notion that Fury has trumped him by jumping in to take on the dangerous Wilder.
Fury has won both of his comeback fights comfortably but Wilder would be a stern test
‘It’s not like they’ve stolen the limelight. There’s enough on the table for everyone to eat, in my opinion,’ he added.
Despite criticising his British rival’s approach, Joshua believes the decision to fight Fury is a shrewd move for the ‘Bronze Bomber’ as victory will give him far more sway when negotiating a massive unification bout against the former Olympic champion.
‘I know the strategy is for him to fight Fury after a three year lay-off. He’s got a good chance of beating him.
‘It will boost his profile so when he comes back to the negotiating table he will have a better leg to stand on,’ Joshua added.
