He’s the man who co-founded Apple alongside Steve Jobs in 1976.
But it seems that not even Steve Wozniak is impressed by the iPhone X.
In a new interview, Wozniak said that he won’t be buying an iPhone X on ‘day one’, and instead claims he is happy with his iPhone 8.
Wozniak expressed concerns about whether the Face ID feature, which allows users to unlock their device just by looking at it, would work.
His revelation comes just a day after a survey showed that demand for the device – which begins shipping on November 3 – will be substantial, but not exceptional.

Wozniak was speaking from the sidelines of the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas this week when he made his opinion on the iPhone X known.
He said: ‘I’d rather wait and watch that one.
‘I’m happy with my iPhone 8 — which is the same as the iPhone 7, which is the same as the iPhone 6, to me.
‘For some reason, the iPhone X is going to be the first iPhone I didn’t — on day one — upgrade to.

While Apple has hailed the iPhone X – which feature a range of new features including animoji, an edge-to-edge display and facial recognition – as revolutionary, Wozniak seems less convinced
‘But my wife will, so I’ll be close enough to see it.’
Wozniak remained at Apple at Apple for nine years, before leaving the company in 1985.
His co-founder, Steve Jobs, was keen to grow the company, Wozniak was happy to keep it small, and having made his fortune when Apple went public in 1980, he made the decision to leave.

He added that he was sceptical that the Face ID feature would work.
During Apple’s September 12 event, senior vice president Craig Federighi tried and failed to demonstrate Face ID for the crowd before switching phones.
Apple explained that handlers mistakenly set off Face ID attempts prior to Federighi’s presentation, which caused the phone to revert to a passcode lock before he took the stage.
While Face ID won’t face an acid test with ordinary users until November, Apple says it should work just fine.

Wozniak’s admission comes just days after a survey by brokerage firm, Bernstein, showed that demand for the iPhone X will be substantial, but not exceptional.
In a survey of 1,112 iPhone owners in the US, UK and China, only a quarter said they were planning to buy the phone.
Bernstein said: ‘The excitement surrounding the iPhone X appears to be magnitudes higher than actual purchase intent – 48 per cent of respondents agreed/strongly agreed that they were ‘excited for the iPhone X.’

While it was doubtful how many iPhone users will upgrade to the $999 (£999) iPhone X, an overwhelming majority will still choose an Apple device, according to the survey.
Bernstein added: ‘Consumer loyalty to iPhone remains remarkably strong, despite persistent complaints about high prices and worries about declining innovation, with only three per cent of respondents stating that their next phone would *not* be an iPhone.’
Pre-orders for the iPhone X begin on Friday October 27, with shipping starting a week later on Friday November 3.
