Tom Mitchell and Hannah Davis look set to become AFL’s new golden couple.

On Monday night, the son of Sydney Swans great Barry Mitchell won the illustrious 2018 Brownlow Medal.

The 25-year-old became the sixth player in Hawthorn’s history to win the coveted title.

Tom polled 28 votes to earn himself the prestigious 2018 Brownlow Medal at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium.

The former Sydney Swans star, who traded over to Hawthorn following the 2016 season, was also awarded the AFL Players Association’s Most Valuable Player.

Speaking to Seven’s Bruce McAvaney following the result, Tom credited his family with helping him deal with his newfound fame and the pressures of a footy career.

‘It can be a challenge to get away from (the pressure) at times but I’ve had great support around me which made it a lot easier,’ Tom said.

Hannah styled her blonde locks in soft waves and enhanced her striking facial features with a bronzed complexion, bold brows and a matte nude lip.

During his acceptance speech, a smitten Tom paid tribute to Hannah, saying on stage: ‘She’s the real reason I’m standing up here!’    

He continued, cooing: ‘Hannah’s made sacrifices, she’s there through the highs and lows.’

Speaking later in an interview, Hannah returned the favour saying: ‘Tom makes me proud every single day.’

She revealed the pair will soon be jetting off to holiday in Europe, before spending some extra time in Byron Bay.
