Arne Slot was seen relaxing on holiday with his family in Ibiza as the Liverpool boss recuperates ahead of his first season in charge at Anfield.

The 45-year-old was confirmed as Jurgen Klopp’s successor last month and formally took over as head coach on June 1.

Slot has been relaxing since bringing an end to a successful three-year spell in charge of Feyenoord, including leading the club to the Dutch Cup in April.

His daughter Isa shared a photo of the family on holiday in Ibiza.

Slot was pictured alongside Isa and his wife Mirjam by the pool on the Spanish island.

Isa had shared on social media that the family have been staying at OKU Ibiza, a five-star hotel.

Slot had confirmed his appointment as Liverpool manager ahead of his final match in charge of Feyenoord last month.

Liverpool themselves finally rubber-stamped the news with a formal announcement on Monday, one day after Klopp’s emotional final game on Merseyside.

The Reds confirmed Slot’s first pre-season in charge of the squad will start in July.

Slot has yet to be officially unveiled as Liverpool head coach, with only a brief statement from the club marking his official start date on June 1.

Liverpool are expected to confirm a date for his formal unveiling ahead of the start of pre-season training.

Slot will then take his Liverpool squad on a three-game trip to the United States as part of the preparations for the new season..
