The Can’t Stand Me Now singer is known for his lateness and no-shows at gigs.

He is accused of driving while banned and without insurance.

The former Babyshambles rocker, who lives in Eastern Esplanade in the Kent town, had been given a six-month disqualification last October after he was caught speeding four times in three weeks.

On that occasion, at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court, he was ordered to pay £9,228 and he was heard to have muttered ‘ouch’ at the fine.

He blamed a broken dashboard light and claimed he could not see how fast he was driving each time he flashed by the speed cameras.
