Dardai’s side are two places above the relegation play off position occupied by Arminia, with only goal difference keeping Hertha above their relegation rivals.

The Frenchman’s fiery temper landed him in trouble with Arteta, and there are hopes that his loan spell in Germany has matured the midfielder with Gunners fans viewing the youngster as part of the club’s future.

Guendouzi has made 82 appearances for the North Londoners since arriving from Lorient in 2018. His contract expires next summer but he remains committed to the club.
