15 years and 27 Dresses later, one rom com still remains at the top of the game.
On January 18, 2008, 27 Dresses hit theaters and fans resonated Katherine Heigl’s character, Jane, who truly embodied the phrase ‘always a bridesmaid and never a bride.’
Jane has been a bridesmaid 27 times – hence the 27 dresses – and is determined to find her own Mr. Right.
At first she believes that’s her boss George (Edward Burns) until her sister Tess (Malin Akerman) swoops in and romances him. Eventually they get engaged and enlists Jane to plan her wedding.
Along the way, she not only finds a man (James Marden) but develops a backbone.
Standing the test of time: 15 years later, rom com 27 Dresses still remains at the top of the game
Since 27 Dresses became a hit sensation, the cast members’ careers have taken off in different directions.
Heigl’s reputation took a hit after she got branded as ‘difficult’ to work with after bad mouthing her projects Grey’s Anatomy and Knocked Up.
Meanwhile, the actress who played a younger version of her, Peyton List, has had a successful career as a Disney Child star.
Others were part of some of 2022’s hit TV series – Marsden starred in Westworld while Akerson starred in Reboot.
Katherine Heigl burned her bridges in Hollywood and didn’t work for years
Heigl was at the top of her career when she starred in 27 Dresses (pictured left) and after getting shut out of Hollywood, she only recently made a comeback in 2022 starring in the hit series Firefly Lane
Heigl was in the glory stage of her career when 27 Dresses hit theaters. She played Jane, the woman who is always the bridesmaid and first to please other before herself.
In addition to the 2008 hit, she also starred in box office hits Knocked Up (2007) and The Ugly Truth (2009).
While she was destined to become the next Meg Ryan, she also played Dr. Izzie Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy from 2005 to 2010, which ultimately led to her demise.
All of her experiences in Hollywood may not have been positive, she has consistently spoken highly of her time working on 27 Dresses.
‘We started filming in Rhode Island, and whenever you shoot on location, you tend to bond so quickly with your cast,’ she told InStyle.
‘We’d only have each other to go to dinner with and eat lunch with. You become this super close-knit group, and I was working with some of the greatest.’
She also praised her co-stars, with whom she grew super close.
‘I had so much fun with James Marsden and Edward Burns and Malin Akerman and Judy Greer. Like, these guys were the best.
‘We were just thrown into it together. I never had a college experience, but I think maybe that’s what it feels like.
‘You become so bonded so quickly and do everything together,’ she enthused.
Never the bride: played Jane, the woman who is always the bridesmaid and first to please other before herself
Unfortunately, her career took a hit not too long after 27 Dresses after pictured winning a People’s Choice Award for it above
She even dedicated social media post to 27 Dresses on its tenth anniversary in 2018, calling it ‘one of my favorite projects.’
The actress even shared that she had been planning her own wedding to her current husband, Josh Kelley, while filming and wore ‘Invisalign to correct her snaggle teeth,’ a hot topic that made headlines at the time.
‘Happy 10 years 27 dresses!’ She exclaimed, adding, ‘I had the time of my life being a part of your good old fashioned romantic frivolity and am so grateful to have had the experience, made the friends and kept the memories!’
Unfortunately, her career took a hit not too long after 27 Dresses.
She received an Emmy nomiation for her role in Grey’s Anatomy that same year, but ultimtely rejected the notion and threw some shade toward how her character was written.
‘I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention,’ she told the LA Times at the time.
She continued: ‘In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials.’
Then in 2009, during an appearance on David Letterman, she slammed the show’s producers for making the cast work a 17-hour day, branding them ‘cruel and mean’.
‘Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean,’ she said.
Heigl played Dr. Izzy Stephens in Grey’s Anatomy but got a bad reputation when she ultimtely rejected her 2008 Emmy nomination and threw some shade toward how her character was written
The actress also recieved backlash after she slammed her 2007 film Knocked Up as ‘sexist’
Heigl’s actions provoked the ire of showrunner Rhimes and tainted her relationship with her co-stars. She left Grey’s Anatomy in 2010 amid reports that she was ‘difficult to work with.’
She had also burned her bridges with her Knocked Up director Judd Apatow and co-star Seth Rogan when she called the film ‘sexist’ during an interview.
In 2010, the actress left Hollywood for a quiet life in Utah where she raised her three kids Nancy Leigh, 13, Adalaide Marie Hope, 10, and Joshua Bishop Kelley, 6.
She has since spoken out about her downfall, admitting she acted ‘like an asshole’ at points.
‘My career took off in my 20s and when it first took off, I’m not going to deny there was some arrogance,’ she told TV Guide in. ‘I was feeling pretty untouchable and pretty on top of the world.
‘I felt like I had worked really hard to get there, so I was really gonna relish it. And now, sometimes I’ll look at magazine covers from that time and be, “Girl, take it down a notch!”‘
‘Everybody acts like an asshole in their 20s.’
She certainly isn’t th eonly one who has commented on her attitude. Sources told THR in 2014 that Katherine has attitude problems and would cause ‘desperately difficult situations’ on set.
‘She can cost you time every single day of shooting,’ says a person who worked on Katherine’s 2010 film Life As We Know It.
‘Wardrobe issues, not getting out of the trailer, questioning the script every single day,’ a source told the publication.
However, others have advocated for her honesty and claim that her points were not only valid then but would have been revered in this day and age.
During an episode of Ellen Pompeo’s podcast Tell Me with Ellen Pompeo, she told Kate Walsh: ‘I remember Heigl said something on a talk show about the insane hours we were working and she was 100% right.
‘Had she said that today, she’d be a complete hero. But she’s ahead of her time, made a statement about our crazy hours and of course, let’s slam a woman and call her ungrateful,’ Pompeo said.
‘And she was f***ing ballsy for saying it. And she was telling the truth. She wasn’t lying,’ Pompeo said on the podcast.
Apology accepted: Soon after she apologized for her past comments, she began booking work again and landed the role of Samantha Wheeler on Suits in 2018
Currently, she stars in Firefly Lane with Sarah Chalke
Heigl initially apologized for her remarks. The actress, 37, went on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show in 2016 and claimed that she had made a huge mistake.
‘I went in to Shonda (Rhimes) and said, ‘I’m so sorry. That wasn’t cool, and I should not have said that,’ she told Stern. ‘And I shouldn’t have said anything publicly. I went in because I was really embarrassed.’
‘I was not handling it well. I was feeling completely like the biggest piece of s**t on the bottom of your shoe,’ Heigl said in the live Wednesday morning broadcast.
‘I was really struggling with it and how to not take it all personally and not to feel that there’s something really deeply wrong with me.’
She also added that her comments about her 2007 movie Knocked Up were ‘dumb.’
Soon after her apology, she began booking work again. She landed the role of Samantha Wheeler on Suits in 2018 and hit a new height of popularity when she booked the role Tully on Firefly Lane in 2021.
It was at this point that she began to open up about how she struggled with anxiety at the time which caused her to find more fault in her actions than she felt was truly warranted.
She told The Telegraph’s Stella magazine: ‘It was this vicious cycle. It was a public shaming. Even a little public bullying. And I took it really, really personally. It had me confused about my own worth.
‘The more I said I was sorry, the more they wanted it, she explained. ‘The more terrified and scared I was of doing something wrong, the more I came across like I had really done something horribly wrong.’
Her mental health issues surmounted to the point where she ‘felt like [she] would rather be dead’ and realized she needed to ask for help from her loved ones.
‘I asked my mom and my husband to find me somewhere to go that could help me because I felt like I would rather be dead,’ she admitted.
She credits her mother for helping her during the difficult stage of her life.
‘We were chatting about it and I said, “Mom, if you hadn’t been there, it would not have gone so well for me. I think would very easily have been talked into things that I would regret.’
‘She has been protecting me my whole career and many young women in Hollywood did not have what I had and I was really, really fortunate.’
Eventually, she took up therapy to help manage her anxiety and eventually went on medication, a decision she’s incredibly grateful for.
Standing by her side: Heigl’s husband Josh Kelley stuck by her and defended her controversial comments, claimng she was ahead of her time
Family time: After leaving Hollywood in 2010, she took a break from acting and raised her three kids in Utah
‘After I had exhausted every other option, I finally found someone to help me,’ she said. ‘After months of talking and hearing me and going through it, my therapist gently suggested medication.
‘One of my only regrets is that I did not do that sooner, I wish I sought out help sooner,’ she added.
‘Mental health is not shameful to talk about, but it’s just something my generation really didn’t talk about,’ she continued. ‘Mental illness was always equated with the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.’
Furthermore, she has recently expressed that the claims of her being ‘difficult’ during the earlier stages of her career ‘pisses her off.’
She told the Washington Post: ‘I may have said a couple of things you didn’t like, but then that escalated to “she’s ungrateful,” then that escalated to “she’s difficult,” and that escalated to “she’s unprofessional.”‘
‘What is your definition of difficult? Somebody with an opinion that you don’t like? Now, I’m 42, and that s**t pisses me off,’ she added.
She also has since claimed that she didn’t leave Grey’s Anatomy over the Emmy nomination drama as people had suspected at the time. Rather, it was the responsibility of raising a family that inspired her to leave.
‘I started a family, and it changed everything,’ she told The Telegraph at the time.
‘It changed my desire to work full-time. I went on family leave and just got to be a [mother], and it changed my whole perspective. That was really the turning point.
‘So before I was due back, I spoke again to [show runner] Shonda [Rhimes] about wanting to leave. Then I waited at home until I was given the formal okay that I was off the show. The rumours that I refused to return were totally untrue.
‘[Shonda] wanted to try to figure out how I could do both [parenting and Grey’s], and I kind of wanted to do both. There wasn’t a great way to compromise the work schedule that didn’t negatively affect the crew or the cast,’ she explained.
James Marsden got divorced after the film but is now on top with two of 2022’s hit series
In 27 Dresses Marsden play Kevin, the cynical journalist who doesn’t believe in weddings (pictured left) and his career is continuing to peak to this day (pictured right in 2022)
Marsden got his start in one of the most iconic romantic movies of all time – The Notebook (2004) – which caught Julia Roberts’ attention and lead to him being cast as hearthrob host Corny Collins in Hairspray (2007).
While he played the dreamy Prince Edward in Enchanted (2007) soon after, he wouldn’t land his first romantic lead until 27 Dresses. Marsden play Kevin, the cynical journalist who doesn’t believe in weddings.
Since the film hit theaters in 2008, Marsden has spoken out on its success.
‘I don’t think anybody ever knows when you’re filming something that’s going to stand the test of time,’ Marsden said to EW.
He added: ‘I think there’s a sincerity to the movie that gives it legs.’
Since 27 Dresses, Marsden has had both highs and lows in his career and his personal life.
Just three years after the film’s release, he and his wife Lisa Linde got divorced after 11 years of marriage and went on to co-parent their two children, Jack, 22 and Mary James, 17.
He also made his one big career regret at year later in 2012.
During an appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden, the actor admitted that there is one project he turned down that he would’ve taken if he had gotten a ‘redo.’
Marsden admitted he didn’t expect 27 Dresses to be such a success
Marsden has three kids: two with his ex-wife Lisa Linde – Jack, 22 and Mary James, 17 – and one with his ex Rose Costa – Luca, 10
‘There’s been a few things I’ve said no to in the past that I’m happy I said no to and a few things that maybe if I could redo it, I’d do it over,’ the actor told Corden.
Marsden explained he passed on the part due to ‘a lack of courage’.
‘I had the fear that I would be edited out of the movie and all my lines would be cut out and I would just be an extra running around in a G-string,’ he joked.
He added: ‘I have friends and family who still think that it was a wise idea for me not to do it because they don’t want to see me like that.’
Fortunately, his decision didn’t hurt his career too badly and went on to reprise his role in the X-Men films and booked other blockbusters like Bachelorette (2012) Walk of Shame (2014), and The D Train (2015.)
Additionally, he started dating again. He was linked with Cherie Thibodeaux and even had his third child, Luca with Rose Costa in 2012.
He then started dating singer Edei, 33, in 2015 and the two have been happily together since.
His career recently had a resurgance after he booked two hit TV series: Dead to Me (pictured right) and Westworld (pictured left)
Most recently, he reprised his role in Enchanted for the sequel Disenchanted (2022)
His career recently had a resurgance after he booked two hit TV series: Dead to Me and Westworld.
Both shows recently cam to an end for different reasons. Dead to Me ended after three seasons after the series’ lead, Christina Applegate, revealed she had multiple sclerosis.
Marsden commended his co-star’s strength when her diagnosis came out.
‘That is her character. It is just who she is. Nothing is going to keep her down and she is going to battle and fight through anything and I admire her as a person,’ Marsden said to ET.
Westworld, however, was unexpectedly cancelled by HBO Max.
On Westworld being canceled: ‘I’d be lying to you if I told you that the way we ended Westworld wasn’t a disappointment,’ Marsden said to the Rolling Stone.
‘I’m never going to speak without gratitude about any of my experiences, but it would have been nice to be able to complete the story we wanted to finish.’
‘I totally understand it’s an expensive show and big shows have to have big audiences to merit the expense, I just wish it was about more than financial success,’ he said.
Most recently, he reprised his role in Enchanted for the sequel Disenchanted (2022).
Even though he’s always picking up new projects, the actor recently admitted he’s an old soul at heart and insists on using old technology.
‘I’m not going to try to keep up. I am going to drive my manual five-speed car. I will use my rotary phone. I am fine with analog. You have to run 90 miles an hour to keep up with everything and it can be too much,’ James said to The Daily Telegraph.
Malin Akerman left the set of 27 Dresses for her wedding but is now married to someone else
Heigl loved playing a ‘bridezilla’ in 27 Dresses (pictured left) and has continued to have a successful career since
While her character Tess was playing a bride-to-be in 27 Dresses, Malin Akerson was also planning her on wedding. In fact, she revealed that she left set to get married to her first husband, Roberto Zincone.
However, it seems that’s where the similarities between her and her character stop.
Tess may have been a ‘bridezilla,’ Akerson claims she was anything but.
‘One of my favorite parts about playing Tess was when she got to be bridezilla. I loved that scene in the movie,’ she told Today.
She continued: ‘It was fun to do. I’m pretty chill as a person, very opposite from that. It’s always fun to play opposites and just get all that out.’
She also shared how much she bonded with her co-star and on-screen sister, Heigl.
‘Katherine and I really developed a sisterhood while we were shooting together,’ she shared.
‘We would spend so much time off camera and have dinners together and really get to know one another, including her mom, who is great.
‘I just pretended they were family. We had a lovely time shooting it,’ she said.
Akerman commended Edward Burns whom she had many scenes with: ‘With Ed, to have him as my love interest, he was so wonderful to do any scene with, really’
A year after 27 Dresses’ release, she booked roles in two blockbuster films include Zack Snyder’s Watchmen (pictured right) and Couples’ Retreat (pictured left)
She took on the longterm gig of working on Billionaires in 2016 through 2019 while raising her son
She also commended Edward Burns whom she had many scenes with.
‘With Ed, to have him as my love interest, he was so wonderful to do any scene with, really,’ she shared.
In fact, she enjoyed filming 27 Dresses so much that she and Heigl have been plotting a sequel.
‘Katherine Heigl was talking about [a sequel],’ she told Us Weekly. ‘She was like, “We should do a baby shower [movie] where it’s like, 27 Babies or something like that — where … you’re always the one going to the baby shower, but never the one having the baby.” So, we’re putting it out there!’
Since 27 Dresses, Akerman went on to have a successful career. A year after the film’s release, she booked roles in three blockbuster films include Zack Snyder’s Watchmen, The Proposal and Couples’ Retreat.
In addition to starring in the series Trophy Wife in 2013, she also welcomed her son Zachary into the world.
Just one year later, she and Ziccone got divorced, leaving her to be a single mom.
Thankfully, in 2017, she met Jack Donnelly and the two tied the knot in 2018.
Even though she had an extra set of hands, it didn’t mean she stopped prioritizing her family.
After her divorce from Ziccone, she met Jack Donnelly in 2017 and the two tied the knot in 2018
It seems that Akerman may now be rebooting her career after starring in three films in 2020: The sleepover, Friendsgiving and Chicks
Akerman admitted that her role as a mother had a huge impact on which roles she chose to take or refuse.
‘Also, deciding what job to take, depending on where it’s shooting. Depending on how often I can get back to my son,’ she told Verywell Family.
‘It’s tough, and I [try to observe] what sort of emotional state he’s in. Our kids go through different states of mind and different phases.
‘If he’s very clingy and having trouble separating, then that might be a deciding factor for what job I take next.
‘It’s constantly trying to find a balance [between] work and family. And my priority is really to be with my family as much as possible,’ she explained.
This caused her to choose her roles wisely. She took on the longterm gig of working on Billionaires in 2016 through 2019.

Edward Burns branched out as a triple threat after 27 Dresses
Edward Burns played Jane’s boss, George, in 27 Dresses and now mostly sticks to acting in the films that he has written and directed (pictured right in 2022)
Edward Burns played Jane’s boss, George. Even though Jane has a crush on him, he ends up proposing to her sister Tess.
Since 27 Dresses became a big screen success, continued his career in Hollywood but in multiple facets.
He proved his skills as a triple threat as he wrote, directed and acted in many of his own projects including the films Nice Guy Johnny (2010), Newlyweds (2011) and Summer Days, Summer Nights (2018) and TV series Public Morals (2015) and Bridge and Tunnel which premiered in 2021.
He has also remained happily married to his wife Christy Turlington over the years.

His most recent project is Bridge and Tunnel which premiered in 2021
The two initially met when he was a PA for Entertainment Tonight. While the outlet was interviewing the supermodel, he was made to fetch her coffee.
While telling the story to HuffPost, he quipped, ‘”She has no memory of it, but of course, [as] the PA who gets to meet Christy Turlington, I remember it very well,” Burns said.
They re-met again in 2000 once he broke into the business and tied the knot in 2003.
He and Turlington share two children – Grace, 19, and Finn, 16.
Judy Greer is back at the top of her comedy game as a leading lady after years of playing ‘the friend’
Judy Greer played Jane’s no-nonsense, less-than-enthusiastic friend Casey in 27 Dresses (pictured left) and she is still a major figure in the comedy scene (pictured right in 2022)
Judy Greer played Jane’s no-nonsense, less-than-enthusiastic friend Casey.
Greer not only enjoyed working on the film but had an especially good time playing her character.
’27 Dresses was so fun because that character was very different. She was over it. It was really fun to play someone who was constantly rolling their eyes,’ she said to Us Weekly.
‘I think that’s like the Aubrey Plaza role, like, Aubrey Plaza would have played that role if it had happened to be a few years later.
‘And I thought it was fun to balance out Katherine Heigl’s manic energy and type A personality. That was pretty cool,’ she shared.
She also commended the film’s director, stating ‘Anne Fletcher is just a genius and everyone should be so lucky to be on set with Anne Fletcher. She’s amazing.’
One of the biggest blockbuster films Greer worked on was Jurassic Park (2015)
Greer joined the Halloween franchise in 2018, starring in Halloween and Halloween Kills (pictured above in 2021)
Greer was happy to return to her comedy roots in the hit TV series Reboot
Just one year after 27 Dresses, she landed her long-standing voiceover role as Cheryl Tunt in Archer.
She also booked a number of blockbuster films including The Descendents (2011), Jurassic World (2015) and Ant-Man (2015).
In addition to joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she also joined the Halloween franchise in 2018.
She starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween (20128) and Halloween Kills (2021).
She has recently started making a name for herself in the TV realm as well. In addition to appearing in the miniseries The Thing About Pam, she lead role in the TV series Reboot after years of being cast as ‘the friend.’
While she doesn’t necessarily see it that way as the show is an ensemble show – to her relief – she is happy that Reboot has given her the chance to return to her comedy roots.
‘I really have fallen in love again with actually acting, kind of through Reboot Just getting to just be funny and do comedy, just like a straight-up comedy,’ she said on The Last Laugh podcast. ‘And I missed doing that. I really missed doing comedy.’
She is also in love with her husband Dean E. Johnson. Even though the two wed in 2011, they only moved in together in 2018.
‘Our married life is a little weird,’ she told People in 2018. ‘He had his house and I had mine. We spent our nights together back and forth.’
“I married the right guy for me,” she says adding. “I think marriage is great. He’s the most supportive person I could’ve imagined if I’d Weird Science’d a husband.”
David Castro is still recognized as Pedro, the character he played as a child in 27 Dresses
In 27 Dresses, David Castro played Pedro, the child Jane’s boss mentors (pictured left) and has continued to act to this day (pictured right)
David Castro may have been just 12 years old when he filmed 27 Dresses but he made quite the impression as Pedro, the child Jane’s boss mentors.
Even Shadowhunter may be his biggest role to this date, he says he still gets recognized for playing the child caught dancing to Hips Don’t Lie By Shakira while vacuuming.
‘It’s such a great movie, and so many people remember it. I have people coming up to me in supermarkets like, “You’re Pedro right?”‘ He told AOL.
He told the outlet that while he had the whole set cracking up, he took his role very seriously.
‘I thought I did a good job I was shaking my hips like they told me to,’ he explained.
He also bonded with some of his castmates including the film’s lead, Marsden.
‘I did arm wrestle with James. He’s a cool guy … He let me win obviously. Now, if I see him I want a rematch,’ he joked.
After his first feature film lead in 27 Dresses, the actor continued to appear in small roles throughout the 2010s
He landed his big break in 2016 as Rapheal Stantiago in Shadowhunters
After his first feature film lead in 27 Dresses, the actor continued to appear in small roles throughout the 2010s.
It was in 2016, eight years after the film’s release, that he landed his big break as Rapheal Stantiago in Shadowhunters based on the Mortal Instrument book series and movies. His character, however, was not featured in any of those movies though, and at the time, he felt excited to create the character on his own.
‘I’m relieved because my character wasn’t in the Mortal Instruments movies, so I didn’t have shoes to fill. I’m the first Raphael Santiago, which is kind of cool because I can make it my own,’ he explained.
He added: ‘And the character description is me. Honey-colored skin, black curly hair. When I read it, I was like woah, this is kind of weird, like the stars aligned. I couldn’t be happier with the role.’
He starred on the series up until 2019. Thankfully, his career didn’t stop there.
He landed a guest role on the show God Friended Me and most recently appeared in the TV series Power Book IIIL Raising Kanan (2022).
Peyton List transitioned from Disney to Netflix star
Peyton List booked her first feature film role in 27 Dresses as a young version of Heigl’s Jane at 10 years old (pictured left) and she now sees acting as a ‘career’ (pictured right in 2022)
Peyton List started acting when she was just four year as old and landed her first feature film role in 27 Dresses as a young version of Heigl’s Jane at 10 years old.
While some child actors haven’t enjoyed their time in the industry, List found being a young actress to be ‘really fun.’
‘I didn’t really think of [acting] as a career until I was probably a legal adult,’ she first told GRAZIA Gazette: Los Angeles. ‘It always felt right to me. It never felt off.’
She continued: ‘It always felt really fun, and that I was playing dress-up with a bunch of adults who would be so kind to me and be so collaborative. They would all take me in and teach me about their job.’
After 27 Dresses, she got her big break on the Disney series Jessie.
Even though her agent advised her against it, she couldn’t turn the opportunity down.
‘I always wanted to do it, and it was a dream come true for me. It was mind-blowing as a little kid,’ she shared. She even admitted that they almost cut her character after the first table read when she didn’t any laughs.
To this day she wonders ‘if I hadn’t come around in the first week and hadn’t learned what I needed to do to stay on the show: would I still be acting or would I have been so disheartened with the industry?’
List got her big break on the Disney series Jessie (pictured left) and later starred on the series Bunk’d (pictured right)
List was eventually able to make a graceful exit from her Disney channel days and went on to star on the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai
She and her Cobra Kai co-star Jacob Bertrand revealed they had been dating ‘for a while’ in March 2022
Thankfully, she did and went on to act in more Disney shows and movies like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid films, The Swap and Bunk’d.
Like Zendaya, List was eventually able to make a graceful exit from her Disney channel days and went on to star on the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai.
She also found love during her time on the show. She and her co-star Jacob Bertrand revealed they had been dating ‘for a while’ in March 2022.
While they’ve managed to keep their relationship on the DL, List gushed about her relationship while discussing it with Page Six a couple of months later.
‘It’s been so fun,’ she told the outlet. ‘I feel like we’re all best friends and getting to have, like, a person that I really love in the same city – I’m just so grateful for him.’
‘He’s the nicest person. But it is weird [on set], because I feel like we’re with everyone but each other on the show.’
Her most recent project is also a far departure from her Disney days. She starred as Zooza in the horror film The Friendship Game (2022).
