The Ashes goes on to a 25th day and final day on Monday.

England reached stumps on day four 93 for four and still 210 runs behind Australia.

Joe Root will not be able to partner Jonny Bairstow after the England captain was hospitalised after suffering with dehydration.

Root was also suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea at the start of the final day after record-breaking heat in Sydney on Sunday.

The tourists will restart on day five as England attempt to take a little bit of glory back home.

Captain Root will be hoping for a more positive response than how his side played on day four as temperatures soared to a record high of 47.3 degrees in Sydney.
