Asia Argento takes the stage with band Indochine as she continues to mourn Anthony Bourdain’s death

Italian actress and singer Asia Argento rocked out with the band Indochine on Saturday night during a show at Zenith du Grand Nancy concert hall in France.

The 42-year-old ‘Vampy’ singer took the stage with the French rock band to perform the 2017 track ‘Gloria’.

Argento shared several videos from the concert on her Instagram Story. She also snapped a photo with frontman Nicola Sirkis.

Social media users praised Argento for her bravery for taking the stage with the band just two weeks after her boyfriend, Chef Anthony Bourdain’s suicide.

‘Superb Duo. Bravo Asia. What strength and how imposing,’ Twitter user Coutenot posted.

The day before taking the stage with Indochine, Argento shared a photo to Instagram of her and Bourdain posing for a happy photo together.

‘Two weeks without you,’ she captioned the picture.

Argento has been very active on social media as she continues to mourn the death of Bourdain. In a blunt message on Tuesday, the Me-Too activist posted a photo of herself with the words ‘Life is a b***h and then you die’ scrawled across it.

It came 10 days after her 61-year-old boyfriend was found dead in his hotel room in France after hanging himself.

Following Bourdain’s suicide, Argento has paid tribute to the Parts Unkown chef in a series of posts on social media.

In one post last week, Argento remembered Bourdain by wearing a shirt that read ‘Legends Never Die’ and also shared a quote long attributed to Plato that read: ‘Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind.’

She added: ‘For nothing is concealed that won’t be revealed, and nothing hidden that won’t be made known and brought to light #TruthWillPrevail’.

Immediately following his death, Argento shared her grief on social media, calling him an inspiration and herself ‘beyond devastated’.

‘Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did. His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated. My thoughts are with his family. I would ask that you respect their privacy and mine,’ Argento wrote.

Bourdain was cremated in France last week after he was found dead in his room at the Le Chambard hotel.

His friend Eric Ripert, who had been helping the chef make an upcoming episode of his show Parts Unknown, was the one to make the grim discovery.

He went to Bourdain’s hotel room after he did not attend a planned dinner and breakfast.

Bourdain and Argento first met in 2016 when she appeared on the Rome episode of his Emmy-winning show Parts Unknown.

It was around the time it was revealed that he and his wife Ottavia were separating after nine years of marriage.

Bourdain and Argento’s relationship then became public after the two were seen in Rome together early last year.
