This incredible footage shows exactly what it’s like to ride the tallest water slide in North America.
The astonishing point-of-view video was filmed on Daredevil’s Peak, a 135ft-high slide in the Thrill Park area of the newly opened private island Perfect Day at Coco Cay, which is owned by cruise company Royal Caribbean.
It shows a rider looking thrilled as she plummets down the amazing attraction, which twists around a structure called Daredevil Tower, home to seven slides in total.

One section has bright flashing lights that gives the impression the rider is travelling backwards. Another is in almost complete darkness.
The clip also shows exhilarating point-of-view footage of Daredevil Tower’s Dueling Demons ride, a twin-drop slide that launches riders vertically, and the high-speed Screeching Serpent slide.
And there’s more – a taster of another tower of slides called Splash Summit, which includes more family-friendly rides such as the Slingshot slide, which allows all the family to ride together on a four-person raft, and its Speedaway attraction, a mat racer slide where guests can race their friends and family to the bottom.

Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas is the first island in Royal Caribbean’s private island collection to open and is a calling point on several sailings on board Navigator of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas.
The island, which cost $200million (£158million) to develop, also features Oasis Lagoon, the Caribbean’s largest freshwater pool and Up, Up and Away, a helium balloon that floats up to 450 feet in the air for the highest vantage point in The Bahamas.
There is also Chill Island, where guests can relax on the beach, and the action-packed South Beach with sports, paddle-boarding, glass-bottom kayaking and more.
