A much-loved Australian brand behind a popular item that sold every 30 seconds has wowed fans with a ‘perfect’ must-have summer buy.

Ultra Violette has launched the new Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral SKINSCREEN, designed to leave skin with a hydrating yet non-greasy finish, without that suffocating, heavy feeling of traditional lotions.

The super light zinc formula is not only ideal for those who prefer a mineral sunscreen, but it’s also suitable for all skin types, including normal, combination, sensitive and oil.

The beauty buy contains zinc from Japan, which is gentle on the skin, vitamin E, squalane to help prevent moisture loss and Pentavitin to boost hydration for up to 72 hours.

The super-soothing, fragrance-free mineral sunscreen claims to provide UVA and UVB protection that Ultra Violette is most known for.

The product is designed for daily use, with the brand recommending applying a 20-cent piece amount of formula as the final step in your skincare routine, right after your moisturiser and before your makeup.

Fans of the brand have shared their glowing five-star reviews on the new product, which boasts an average rating of 4.3 out of 5.

And it’s not hard to see why shoppers can’t get enough of Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral SKINSCREEN.

‘I absolutely love this sunscreen. I have been looking for a sunscreen which is mineral, light in texture and a high SPF. This is it. I love the thin texture. I love the hint of colour. Its fantastic. My new love affair,’ one shopper raved.

‘Best mineral sunscreen ever. Finally I can quickly get ready in the morning without having to rub in my sunscreen or have a white cast. I have sensitive, medium skin tone and this has been a lifesaver,’ another shared.

‘Wow I’m in love,’ one added.

Many shoppers explained how the formula works well underneath their makeup.

‘It seriously feels so luxurious on my skin and sat so nicely under my make up,’ she said.

‘Love this product! Have been using for a month and I love the finish it gives my skin. The consistency is so light and sits perfectly under my makeup giving a soft glowy finish,’ another shared.

‘Love love love this! It applies so beautifully on the skin, super lightweight and I love wearing it. It acts like smoothing base for make up… Glides on effortlessly and sinks into the skin so quickly. An absolute game-changer in mineral SPF, cannot believe this is a zinc skinscreen,’ one added.

Some shoppers shared how they have replaced their foundation with this sunscreen because it offers a hint of tint for their skin.

‘Wow! I’ve done away with my usual foundation and just use this sunscreen instead. It gives a little coverage and a lot of sun protection. Win/win for me. Add mascara and blush and I’m good to go,’ one shared.

However, not everyone was impressed with the new formula, with some suggesting the Future Fluid didn’t compare to the brand’s hugely popular Lean Screen.

‘Love the Lean Screen and decided to try Future Fluid. So disappointing! Pills around hairline, eyebrows and neck lines – have tried it with different skincare routines and even bare skin with no difference. Still love the brand but will stick with Lean Screen,’ one shared.

Ultra Violette has been making waves in the beauty world for its best-selling sunscreens – including its Lean Screen which sold a tube every 30 seconds on launch day back in October 2020.

The brand is known for its annual Skinvestment Day, its biggest and only major sale of the year, offering buy one, get one free deals.

Over its two-day sale across Australia and the UK in September 2024, the brand sold more than 50,000 units.
