Nathan Lyon’s stunning success with the ball in Perth led Australia to a much-needed victory on Tuesday – and delighted his glamorous girlfriend cheering him on at the ground.
Emma McCarthy, a real estate agent from Western Australia, posted a photo on social media from Perth Stadium where Australia completed a 146-run over India in the second Test.
Lyon played a leading role, with the world’s best off-spinner snaring 3/39 from 19 overs as Australia quickly dismissed India’s tail-enders.

Lyon and McCarthy have formally been an item for a little over 12 months, with the blonde stunner frequently uploading snaps on Instagram from trips abroad to France, Greece and Croatia as well as around Australia.
The couple also holidayed in South Africa earlier this year, visiting a handful of famous wineries as well as the ritzy Delaire Graff Estate, renowned for its wine and art.
While not as prolific on social media, Lyon makes no mention of McCarthy on his personal Instagram page.

Instead, his focus is on his two young daughters Harper and Milla, who he shares custody with ex-partner Mel Waring.
McCarthy initially met Lyon through Aussie teammate Mitchell Marsh, who previously dated the attractive blonde.
Lyon is nicknamed the ‘GOAT’ [the Greatest Of All Time] due to the fact he holds the best bowling record for an off-spinner in Australia’s Test cricket history, with 334 wickets.
After the first couple of Tests against India in Adelaide and Perth, Lyon already has 16 wickets to his name.
