Ms Boden was enjoying a night out when the attack unfolded and was stabbed in the chest as she tried to help others near Southwark Cathedral.

The honour follows another bravery award for Ms Boden issued by the Queen in the United Kingdom eight months ago.

The June 2017 attack began when three men inspired by Islamic State deliberately drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge.

After crashing the van, the occupants ran out and began stabbing civilians in nearby Borough Market.
