Aussie Olympic medalist Emily Seebohm flaunts physic

Olympic medalist Emily Seebohm has flaunted her athletic body in a racy picture posted online just days after announcing her split from ex-boyfriend Mitchell Larkin.

Seebohm broke up with fellow Olympic swimmer Mitch Larkin last Friday, amid rumors he was having an affair with another swimmer outside the team.

The 26-year-old took to social media to share the image of herself hanging upside down on a pole with the caption: ‘This is the only bender I go on these days.’

The glamorous athlete wore nothing but lacy black underwear, a pink crop top and a pair of towering heels as she held her body up with an impressive handstand.

Fans of Seebohm congratulated the swimmer for her passion for pole dancing, praising her for posting the snap after her highly-publicised break-up.

‘Go girl, remember success is the best form of revenge,’ wrote one before another added ‘No doubt about it, Mitch is a silly boy for walking away from that sensation,’ one wrote.

‘Horse riding, pole dancing and elite swimming? How do you fit it all in?’ added another fan.

As the Australian swim team headed to the Great Barrier reef on Saturday, Larkin was notably absent form the trip.

But an Australian swim team spokesman told the Courier Mail it was ‘business as usual’ for the team and Larkin was focused on ‘getting his performance right’ for next month’s Pan-Pacific Championships.

Coincidentally, it was during the Pan-Pacific Championships Trials in Adelaide three weeks ago when rumours of the alleged affair surfaced, according to sources close to the pair.

Seebohm was spotted getting a new look on Friday with foils in her hair during a trip to the hairdresser in Brisbane.

She took to social media last week to confirm the sudden end of the relationship and received support from Larkin’s ex-girlfriend Meagen Nay who also spoke out about the break-up.

‘There is hard evidence in here, trust me,’ Nay wrote on social media in relation to the rumours.

She also posted an identical photo that Seebohm had posted on Instagram – an image overlaid with text stating ‘What is coming is better than what is gone’.

Seebohm reportedly discovered fresh details of the alleged affair last Thursday and immediately called off the relationship.

The pair were taking part in Treasury Brisbane’s ICON fashion show that night, with an insider claiming they saw Seebohm ‘leave the hotel and it looked to me like she was crying’.

‘They were not tight [backstage] like I had seen them previously and she looked quite agitated,’ a source told Daily Telegraph.

Seebohm announced the shock split to her 41,000 Instagram followers the next day.

The swim star couple had bought a house together in Brisbane late last year.

Larkin, Seebohm and a spokesman for the Australian Swim Team declined to comment on the rumours of an alleged affair.

Swimmer and friend Grant Irvine said the team wants to respect the privacy of Emily and Mitch.

‘It’s their business,’ he told the Courier Mail.

Seebohm won Olympic gold in relay events in 2008 and 2012 and also has five World Championships golds and seven in the Commonwealth Games.

Larkin won five gold medals at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast earlier this year.
