When it comes to cooking bacon everyone has their own style – but if there’s one thing most home cooks agree on is that it should never be done in the nude.
A group of Australians recently started an amusing conversation about things that should never be done naked – resulting in an amusing and comprehensive list.
Most of the respondents agreed frying bacon was a bad move with many embarrassed to admit they had learned the hard way.
When it comes to cooking bacon everyone has their own ‘best ever’ method but the one thing most home cooks agree on is that it should never be done in the nude
‘Make bacon, I don’t really want to talk about it,’ one man said.
Cooking of all kinds appeared in the list with one woman revealing she had once fallen asleep whilst making mashed potatoes.
‘Woke up naked to see firefighters surrounding me,’ she said.
But while it was the most popular answer it wasn’t the only one which involved burns in embarrassing places.
‘Never iron in the nude, especially when you are heavily pregnant,’ one woman said, embarrassed.
Others added using a hair straightener or hair dryer to the list while one woman said she would never sit on a leather couch naked again.

Two mums revealed ‘riding a horse’ is a bad idea and appeared to be talking from experience.
‘Hair ends up getting stuck everywhere,’ one person wrote.
Cleaning the house appeared to be a popular choice for nude-friendly homes with one exception.
‘No one wants to see anyone else scrub the floor in the nude, it isn’t flattering and it is hard to un-see,’ one woman laughed.
