Australia completed a comprehensive 2-0 series victory over Pakistan after winning the second Test in Adelaide by an innings and 48 runs.

Nathan Lyon claimed five for 69 as Pakistan, made to follow on after the hosts had declared their first innings on 589 for three, were skittled for 239 with a day to spare.

Pakistan resumed their second innings on 39 for three and although opener Shan Masood (68) and Asad Shafiq (57) both made half-centuries, only wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan (45) was able to offer further resistance.

Josh Hazlewood finished with three for 63, while Australia never relinquished control after David Warner’s 335 not out in their first innings.

Australia won the first Test in Brisbane by an innings and five runs.
