An urgent recall has been issued for two products sold through Australia Post over fears children could swallow their harmful button batteries.

The Nice & Nifty LED String Lights and Nice & Nifty Light Up Bunny Sign were recalled last Friday after concerns the battery compartments were not secure.

Both products were sold online and in-store at Australia Post retailers across the country.

The button battery in both products may be easily accessible to children with no safety warning labels present on packaging.

Anyone who purchased the Nice & Nifty LED String Lights are advised to immediately and carefully dispose of any packaging from the product, including the ‘try me’ button.

Anyone who purchased the Nice & Nifty Light Up Bunny Sign is also encouraged to return the product to an Australia Post outlet for a full refund.
