An airline traveller has shamed a fellow passenger for ‘rudely’ hanging her blonde hair over the back of her seat and blocking the entire screen.

Australian man David shared a picture of a female passenger with her hair flicked back over the headrest while watching her an in-flight movie in front of her.

After the image emerged via a popular travelling Facebook group, many were furious by the woman’s ‘incredibly selfish’ behaviour – but not everyone agrees.

‘How rude. Where’s a pair of scissors when you need them?’ one said.

Another said: ‘That’s why they don’t let you take scissors on board. I’d ask politely to remove it and if she didn’t then I’d be removing it for her myself. One strand every minute.’

One said: ‘I’d have that s*** under control in a heartbeat, incredibly selfish and rude.’

‘It’s a shame scissors aren’t allowed on planes. I’d cut it nice and straight just above the TV,’ another commented.

One suggested: ‘Just go play with her hair and annoy her until she turns around and tell you to cut it. Consent accepted.’

And another said: ‘It’s revolting… and you can’t tell me they don’t know what they are doing. Unless of course they are that stupid.’

While the man who took the photo seemed furious, some people quickly pointed out the person sitting behind the offending hair was actually reading a book so they didn’t need their screen anyway.

Other people said the ‘offended’ man should have politely approached the woman-in-question to discuss the issue instead of calling her out on social media.

‘Not sure why some people sit and fester over issues and take the time to take a photo and post – what happened to just politely explaining the infringement on your person space is not acceptable. If you get off your phone and talk to people you can actually meet some nice people,’ one said.
