Australian DJ Havana Brown is refusing to go the races after recently going vegan.
The 34-year-old said she will not attend the Victorian Spring Carnival as it does not fit with her dietary ideology.
Brown turned vegan six weeks ago, and told Perth Now that she will not be endorsing horse racing.
‘I’ve done a bit of research on horse racing and I don’t particularly want to support it,’ Brown said.

The ‘We Run The Night’ hit-maker announced in August that she was transitioning into a vegan diet, but still eating fish once a week.
She recently returned to Australia after a seven-year stint in Los Angeles, and is embracing her vegie based diet on home soil.
‘For years I had been gradually taking animal products out of my diet and about six weeks ago I completely eliminated it,’ Brown said.
‘I feel good for it and I feel healthy. There’s nothing wrong with eating more vegies.’
Brown is an ambassador for green education program Kids Teaching Kids, which teaches children to live sustainably and develop good habits moving into the future.
She recently told The Herald Sun that her veganism is an attempt to ‘help the environment.’
Her brand new single ‘All Day’ is scheduled for release on Friday.
