And former Australian Idol winner Stan Walker pulled a hilarious prank at local pub in Auckland, New Zealand last week.

Making an appearance on satirical YouTube news show Jono and Ben, Stan was shown participating in karaoke competition Panmure Idol for the prank.

The winner of the competition takes home a $1,000 prize and is determined by crowd votes.

Stan took the stage to sing RnB classic Let Me Love You by Mario, but ended up humming out of tune and missed the timing of the lyrics.
