Australian Survivor’s Sam Schoers shows off her staggering weight loss

Australian Survivor star Sam Schoers reveals her whopping 8kg weight loss off her already slender frame in shock swimsuit selfie… after just 16 days on the show

Australian Survivor’s Sam Schoers lost a whopping eight kilos during the 16 days she spent filming the Island-based reality series.

The 30-year-old, who was eliminated on Monday night’s episode, revealed her weight loss in a shocking swimsuit selfie on Tuesday.

Speaking to news.com.au this week, the model revealed that she had her swimsuit customised before filming to accommodate the expected changes in her body.

‘The sides were adjustable on the bottom, so I could tighten them up, and I took the top to an alterer and got it completely reinforced,’ she explained.

‘And it helped, because I lost eight kilos throughout my experience and I needed them to be extra tight; I needed them to be comfortable.’

Sam suffered an epic blindside when she was booted from Australian Survivor on Monday night.

The blonde beauty didn’t survive the Contenders’ first visit to tribal council, or a team swap which saw Champions Luke Toki and David Genat moved to the Contenders tribe.

Despite an alliance initially being formed against Champions Luke and David, it was Sam who was sent packing in one of the biggest blindsides of the season.

‘That is what you call an epic blindside,’ Sam said, who clearly believed she was safe.

‘I can’t believe that the Contenders turned on each other. I think people are absolutely playing for themselves.’

Earlier at tribal council, Sam was asked if she believed an alliance with Luke and David might have served her better during the night.

‘At this point in time, no I don’t,’ she said with a calm confidence.
