Megan and MGK, 31, were standing off to the side of the red carpet with her stylist Maeve Reilly nearby, who was being honored with the Style Curator Award.
Megan had a stony look on her face while MGK was smiling; he stood behind her as she faced toward the cameras.
He put his arms around her waist and she turned her head away from his leaning face as he attempted to kiss neck.
Megan kept her face expressionless as she not so subtly dodged his kiss until he eventually gave up and just smiled in surprise.

Fans caught the tense moment on Footwear News’ Instagram page, although they did end up posing together on the red carpet and also holding hands while inside.

Megan and MGK got engaged on January 11, 2022 in Puerto Rico after dating since May 2020.
They shared a video of the proposal, which featured a three-camera montage of the moment he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.
In the footage Megan shared, the couple are seen from the base of the stairs, with a second angle featuring a side view of them.
The final angle they are seen in the video is facing Megan, with the camera behind Machine.
The footage shows Kelly getting down on one knee in a location special to the couple as Fox stood in shock with her hands over her mouth.

She, eventually, dropped to her knees and allowed MGK to place the engagement ring on her finger. The lovebirds then wrapped their arms around one another and shared a kiss.
In the proposal video post, Megan wrote a long caption, where she revealed they ‘drank each other’s blood’ to celebrate the occasion, which took place outside of the Spa Botánico at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico.
‘In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time,’ began Megan, who first became romantically linked to MGK in May of 2020.
She continued: ‘Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.
