  • Hilarious footage filmed by nurse who was visiting Rostock Zoo in Germany

Adorable footage shows two baby orangutans climbing all over a female trying to eat her food as she struggles to push them off.

Mother orangutan Dinda can be seen gently pushing the  her baby, Lintang and her niece 10-month-old Niah away several times.

The babies crawl over her shoulders and back as she munches on the leaves making her best efforts to shoo them away before they eventually give up.

The footage was shot by nurse Klara Beck while she was visiting Rostock Zoo in north east Germany.

Dinda is, according to the observations of her zoo keepers, an exemplary mother. She cares wonderfully for her baby and has ‘great sensitivity’ towards both her baby relatives.

The zoo is the largest on the German Baltic Sea coast, holding 4,000 animals from 380 different species across the world.

The naturally designed enclosures are embedded in a unique park landscape with different botanical features.

Aside from having cheetahs, jaguars, exotic birds in the rainforest pavilion, they also have polar bears and over 250 species of  primates in their enclosures.
