Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss accused of attacking his wife

Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss, 55, ‘attacked his pregnant beauty queen wife, 31, at their Hawaii home, demanded she get an abortion, threatened to shove her down the stairs and called her a low-rent gold digger’

Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss has been accused of attacking his pregnant wife in their Hawaii home after demanding she get an abortion.

Laura Fleiss, who is a former Miss America winner, filed an emergency domestic violence restraining order against her 55-year-old husband on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old, who shares a four-year-old son with Fleiss, claims the attack occurred on July 6 and was captured on surveillance cameras at their home.

She claims Fleiss attacked her after demanding she get an abortion because he didn’t want a second child, according to court documents first obtained by The Blast.

Laura said she is 10 weeks pregnant with her second child.

It comes just a week after Fleiss filed for divorce in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have been married since 2014.

During the hearing on Tuesday, Laura’s lawyer Samantha Spector presented surveillance images of the alleged attack and photos of the injuries she suffered in the July 6 incident.

Laura claimed in court documents that Fleiss had been verbally abusive towards her on a number of occasions in their five year marriage but became ‘enraged’ in recent weeks after finding out she was pregnant.

She said Fleiss demanded on July 4 that she get an abortion while their son Benjamin was in their home in another room.

‘Mike told me, ‘If you have an abortion, then we can just go back to the way we were’,’ Laura said, according to the court documents.

She claims he repeatedly demanded to see bank statements to see if she paid for an abortion. Laura said she had scheduled an appointment for August 5 given ‘Mike’s insistence and pressure’.

Laura claims she called her mother on July 5 but Fleiss allegedly grabbed the phone and told her she couldn’t see her daughter until after she’d had the abortion.

‘This statement was especially scary to me, as I had not personally committed to having an abortion but had made an appointment given Mike’s insistence and pressure. I had no idea what exactly he meant by it and interpreted it as a threat that he would prevent my family from having contact with me or my son,’ she said in court documents.

She claimed that Fleiss forcibly grabbed her cell phone from her hands on July 6 while she was caring for their sick son.

Laura claims in court documents that she followed him outside begging for her phone back. She said she feared she wouldn’t have a way to contact police if he became violent.

Once outside the home, Fleiss allegedly pinned her against a wall and held her there before she managed to break free.

‘After I broke free, he continued to use his arms and hands to aggressively push me away from him as he walked outside the door, still not returning my phone,’ Laura said in court documents.

‘Then he walked towards his pick-up truck parked outside in our driveway, shouting ‘I’m going to punch your face in’.’

Laura said she stood on the running board of her husband’s truck in a bid to get her phone back but he allegedly put the vehicle into reverse.

She claims he then pushed her off the running board and drove away.

‘Our unborn child and I could have been severely injured if I had fallen off the truck’s running board or run over the wheels of the truck,’ Laura claimed.
