Fans of The Bachelor were confronted with a chilling twist on Wednesday night – and it had nothing to do with the competition.
During the episode, Jimmy Nicholson whisked frontrunner Brooke Cleal away for a racy poolside rendezvous, stripping down to his swimming trunks for the occasion.
While the date itself went off without a hitch, fans were left perplexed after they noticed Jimmy’s bizarre-looking foot dangling in the water.

As Jimmy relaxed on the edge of the pool with his bikini-clad date, the camera suddenly zoomed into his unusually-shaped left foot.

In the background, Laura can be heard gasping: ‘But what the f**k are those, Jimmy? Look at Brooke’s toe!’

Upon closer inspection it seems Jimmy doesn’t have six toes.

The illusion was created by a combination of low lighting and camera angles, while in reality Jimmy was simply crossing his feet together.
Later in Wednesday’s episode, Jimmy dramatically dumped Jay Lal after her friend slip she’d moved to Sydney to get over a breakup with ‘somebody famous’.
Viewers are now gearing up for Thursday’s grand finale episode, during which Jimmy will choose between his top two contestants Brooke and Holly Kingston.
The Bachelor Australia finale airs Thursday 7.30pm on Channel 10.
