Bachelor fans plead with Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins to send Cassandra Wood home

The Bachelor star has been labeled ‘a desperado’ and ‘stage-five clinger’ after confessing to ‘love at first sight’ for former fling Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins.

And while Cassandra Wood, 24, continues to pine for the former Wallabies star, 30, she’s yet to receive reassurance of his romantic interest.

After Thursday’s episode, fans took to Twitter to plead with Nick to ‘send the poor girl home’ as her intense, seemingly-unrequited affection was ‘torturous’ to watch.

Despite the rugby player locking lips with three contestants in the season to date, he’s notably kept his distance from Cassie.

Each episode Cass appears on the verge of a breakdown when she speaks about the discomfort of seeing Nick with other women and the uncertainty of his feelings.

Viewers of the show took note of the student’s emotional distress, writing: ‘This is mean. Nick really needs to have a talk with Cass and let her down nicely. Not fair to barely speak to her right at the end when giving out roses.’

A fellow fan agreed: ‘Nick’s clearly not into Cass. He knows how much she likes him and tortures her by not approaching her at cocktail parties, not having one-on-one date with her and at rose ceremonies he leaves her towards the end. Why not send her home to save her more hurt?’

‘He should send Cass home if he doesn’t like her, he should have figured it out by now,’ another Tweeted.

‘It’s just sad seeing her so desperate for him’, ‘It’s torture to watch’, and ‘I can’t stand it’ were some of the outcries by fans.

On Thursday night’s episode, she became increasingly frantic and looked visibly concerned as other women received roses before her.

‘My heart’s beating,’ she said. ‘Nick is a dream and perfect, and it would be a fairytale if I ended up with him.’

After finally getting picked by Nick, Cass went in for a very tight and long hug before accepting her rose.
