Bachelor ‘villain’ Romy Poulier slammed for her ‘Future Is Female’ tee

Thanks to her snarky remarks, Romy Poulier has quickly gained a reputation as a ‘villain’ on this year’s season of The Bachelor.

So viewers were surprised to see the 30-year-old wearing a T-shirt with the slogan ‘The Future Is Female’ on Wednesday and Thursday’s episodes.

Many fans took to Twitter to remark on the ‘irony’ of Romy endorsing the feminist motto – which advocates for women’s empowerment and solidarity – as she ruthlessly mocked rival contestant Vanessa ‘Sunshine’ Bennet.

‘Romy wears ‘the future is female’ tee but exclusively only puts down other women,’ one confused viewer wrote, followed by a shrugging emoji.

‘Gotta love the irony of Romy wearing a ‘the future is female’ shirt as she tears down another female,’ a second shared to Twitter.

Meanwhile, others shared hilarious GIFS and pictures poking fun of the blonde’s attire.

One shared a GIF of actors Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones looking less-than-impressed,  and wrote : ‘Oh GURL (sic) is Romy wearing a ‘the future is female’ shirt??? Take it off, burn it, that shirt is not made for someone like you’.

The feminist slogan was frequently used during Hillary Clinton’s 2018 Presidential Campaign, but one viewer claimed the failed Democratic nominee would not approve of Romy rocking the shirt.

‘Hilary (sic) says no’ they wrote, accompanied by a picture of the former First Lady.

Last week, Romy’s reputation as a ‘villain’ became solidified when she tried to be the first contestant to kiss Bachelor Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins.

The brazen blonde leaned in to nuzzle at Nick’s neck, before he brutally rejected her advances.

‘Better take this down a notch.’ There’s 21 other girls back at the mansion, and I need to consider their feelings as well,’ The Bachelor explained in a piece to camera.
