Bittersweet goodbye: Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay, 32, had to say goodbye to her fiance Bryan Abasolo, 37, after a fun weekend in Miami with his family

Earlier in the day, the couple headed out for pizza and coffee in Miami before she had to leave.

Rachel looked beautiful in a purple jumpsuit with high heeled wedges before changing into furry sandals for her trip through the airport.

The Texan beauty wore her long dark hair in loose waves around her shoulders and kept her large sunglasses on as she entered the terminal.

The low-maintenance reality TV star wheeled her own suitcase behind her as she smiled at the camera, carrying a colorful scarf and designer purse in her other.

She also had a backpack attached firmly to her back, presumably trying not to have to check any bags on her journey home.

Bryan triumphed over 30 other men to win Rachel’s heart during season 13 of The Bachelorette.

Their romance is a happy turn for the Texas girl, who was left heartbroken after Nick Viall dumped her during the penultimate rose ceremony of his reign as Bachelor.

The beauty recently had to defend herself after DeMario Jackson, who criticized her for her alleged preference while he appeared at the beginning of the season.

The Bachelor In Paradise star was a guest on the The E&G Podcast on Monday, August 21 when he made the comments.

‘I was only there for the two weeks in the house,’ Jackson explained.

‘From the beginning you knew that she was attracted to white men. You knew that. No disrespect, you just knew. She had that vibe.’

He continued: ‘From night one, we all set down, all the guys and I said, “They’re going to have a black representative, either myself or Eric, and they’re going to have Dean, Peter, and Bryan as the final four.”‘

The reality star called out production for pre-selecting a black man to be in the finale.

‘Just for the fact that I feel like Eric and I both have … I mean we have different but similar personalities and we’re both like, it’s just pretty good for TV.’

He continued: ‘It’s either me the wild and crazy black guy, or it’s going to be the very spiritual down-to-earth, positive, motivating guy.’

Ultimately, Eric Bigger ended up as runner up and Lindsay had to choose between Bryan Abasolo and Peter Kraus.

The Bachelorette herself didn’t take the accusations lying down.

She took to Instagram to comment on the show’s Instagram photo that was promoting DeMario’s appearance.

She wrote: ‘Says the guy that dated Lexi. Demario never knew me and still doesn’t.’

Lexi Thexton was DeMario’s ex, who famously told Lindsay that she had been dating DeMario prior to his appearance on season 13 before he completely disappeared.

But DeMario denies the two were serious: ‘”Lexi was a girl I really just strictly knew from Bumble. I couldn’t tell you what she did. I knew she went to Santa Monica College, she’s from Vancouver. I don’t know if she’s trying to be an actress, I don’t know if she’s trying to get into any of that.’
