Darvid Garayeli confirmed his split from Bachelorette Brooke Blurton on Sunday, only for his ex to accuse him of going against her wishes by announcing it too soon.
And if that wasn’t enough drama, an unexpected twist has emerged after runner-up contestant Jamie-Lee Dayz weighed in on the couple’s break-up on Tuesday.
The psychology student, 30, appears to have sided with her former love rival Darvid, 27, by sharing a supportive comment below his latest Instagram post.

Darvid uploaded a selfie announcing he’d moved out of the Melbourne apartment he briefly shared with Brooke, 26, and was back living with his family in Brisbane.
The landscaper wrote in the caption: ‘Back home with my loved ones… and my washing. Thanks for all the supportive messages, putting on a brave face.’
Much to the surprise of fans, Jaimie-Lee showed her support by commenting, ‘You’ve got this,’ along with a heart emoji.

Her kind words caught the attention of Bachelorette viewers who praised her for being so classy after Brooke had chosen Darvid over her in the season finale.
Interestingly, she does not appear to have made any public statements in support of Brooke; however, it’s possible she reached out to the youth worker privately.
Darvid’s interstate move comes after he announced his split from Brooke on Sunday, just one month after their season of The Bachelorette finished airing.
But following his break-up announcement, Brooke said she was ‘surprised’ he had decided to publicly share the news without consulting her.

‘This is not how and what I expected to be doing right now so as you can imagine, this is all a lot.’
