It’s the dating show which often leaves fans reeling when their favourites are sent home during the elimination rose ceremonies.
But who goes home each episode of The Bachelorette might not be such a surprise after all, with one fan claiming you can see who gets eliminated ahead of time.
One Twitter user has claimed contestants who receive a rose have a magnet attached to their lapels before they get their token from Sophie Monk, while those who are sent home don’t have one.
Does this reveal who gets eliminated? Bachelorette fan theory claims safe contestants have magnets attached to their lapels BEFORE they get a rose
The theory is consistent with Thursday night’s elimination ceremony, which saw Bingham Fitz-Henry sent home and series villain Ryan Jones given a rose.
But before he had been given the good news, Ryan could be seen sporting a magnet on his lapel, which was clearly visible as he made his way towards Sophie and received his rose.
In contrast, Bingham did not have a magnet on his lapel.

After the episode aired, @SiennaSapphire tweeted: ‘I’ve worked out who the one going home will be. They all have magnets for the rose, except the loser.’
Roses are attached to Bachelorette contestants’ suits using magnets, in order to avoid the suitors from sustaining any nasty pin pricks while filming.
The theory comes after fans took to social media during The Bachelor finale claiming that a clue revealed Elise Stacy had not won prior to Matty dumping her.
The hockey player could be seen getting off the boat onto a beach, which was free of footprints.

Written in the sand? Fans took to social media during The Bachelor finale claiming that a clue revealed Elise Stacy had not won prior to Matty dumping her
In the Bachelor Australia franchise, the runner-up is typically dumped first.
Elise even admitted the lack of sand had been a dead give away, telling TV Week: ‘I actually looked at the ground and I was walking on sand and I said to myself, “There are no footprints on this path,” so no-one had walked it before and so I knew I was walking down for the first time.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Network Ten for comment.
