Australian women are racing to buy the world’s first four-piece bikini that flatters every shape and size with revolutionary reversible fabric.
Amber Marell Boyers launched sustainable swimwear label Baiia in 2016 with the aim of creating trendy pieces that make women feel sexy, regardless of their body type.
Tired of the frumpy, full-coverage looks targeted at shoppers who wear larger dress sizes, the fashion designer from Brisbane started with a $269 three-piece ‘wrapsuit’ that sculpts the stomach and glides seamlessly over the behind without pinching.
Made from premium triple-lined Italian fabric, the suit made such waves in the Australian fashion industry that Ms Boyers was inspired to create a multi-wear bikini that includes a $149 two-piece top and $119 two-piece bottoms.

‘I knew how instrumental a swimsuit could be in changing how a woman felt about herself.. in what other garment is a woman showing up in public, half-naked?’ Ms Boyers told Daily Mail Australia.
‘If you can feel sexy, supported and at home in your body while half naked in front of a bunch of strangers, imagine how else you could show up in the rest of your life.’
Available in sizes 6 to 26, Baiia is a true champion of body inclusivity, offering a broader size range than almost any other mainstream swimwear brand on the market.
The bikini features two reversible chest pieces and a side-tie belt, while the full coverage, ultra-high waisted bottoms are lined with compression fabric that supports you in all the right places.

She pulls the larger piece of the bikini top up over her legs, then ties the belt around her waist. The reversible fabric means each piece can be twisted around for ‘endless variations’.
The sets have proved wildly popular, with shoppers snapping up more than 2,500 in September alone.
Ms Boyers believes her designs have captured the imagination because they are suitable for every kind of woman.
‘I’m really proud to be a brand that resonates with literally all ages, shapes and walks of life,’ she said.

The brand’s top seller used to be the wrapsuit in Tanami, Bahamas and Tahiti prints, but now Ms Boyers says everyone is buying the bikini (pictured)
‘We are all so different, but one thing remains the same: we all want to feel good in our own skin. I love how Baiia is able to help different generations of women feel that way.’

‘Our best-seller is the Martinique, it has beautiful hand-painted artwork,’ she said.
Ms Boyers plans to expand the range with premium resort-wear made from recycled materials, but for now her main priority is getting as many women to slip into her world-first bikinis as possible.
‘I like to focus on one thing and do it really well,’ she said.
‘I want more women to show up and show off. To feel sexy and comfortably show more skin than they thought they could, but still feel supported.’
