Chemist Warehouse employee finds an affordable ‘dupe’ of $54 sold-out face tint: ‘It’s better than the original’
- An Aussie Chemist Warehouse worker has found a perfect ‘dupe’
- Drunk Elephant’s Sunshine Drops is $54 and sold out online
- Bali Body’s Bronzing Serum is just as good and costs $30 – a $24 price difference
A Chemist Warehouse employee has spilled on her secret dupe of a popular beauty product that keeps selling out online.
Jess, who works for the retailer and shares insider tips, said Bali Body’s $29.95 Bronzing Serum is a perfect alternative to Drunk Elephant’s viral D-Bronzi Sunshine drops that costs $54.
The Drunk Elephant bronzer is out of stock in stores and online across the country so Jess put Bali Body’s version to the test to see if it measures up with impressive results.

Both bronzing drops are used to hydrate the skin while giving a warm sun-kissed glow but Bali Body’s serum is $24 cheaper.
Jess tried out the Bali Body bronzing serum by adding a few drops of it to her moisturiser as the instructions say.
‘I’ve got a good amount of moisturiser, I don’t know how much to use. I think it’s very dependable on how dark you want it,’ she explained.

The beauty lover mixed the two products together on the back of her hand and applied it on her face.
‘It did blend in well and gave me a beautiful bronze glow. I would recommend having a fake tan on though as it might be a little bit funny with pasty skin,’ Jess said.
‘You could just apply it to the cheek areas as a cream bronzer,’ she added.
Many viewers in the comments agreed the bronzer was a perfect Drunk Elephant dupe with one thinking it was even better than the original.
‘This looks a lot better than the drunk elephant drops in my opinion and also a more affordable option. Very nice,’ they said.
‘I use this and this is 100 percent a dupe to Drunk Elephant drops,’ another agreed.
‘Nooo don’t sell them out too,’ a third wrote.
