Barack and Michelle Obama are celebrating 27 years of marriage today, and the former president and first lady want everyone to know that they are still as happy as ever together.
Barack, 58, and Michelle, 55, tied the knot on October 3, 1992, and today they both posted romantic pictures and loving messages to one another on Instagram and Twitter to celebrate the joyous milestone.
While the former president called his wife ‘babe,’ she wrote about how they’re still feeling the magic, all these years later.

President Obama beat his wife to the punch, posting a photo that appears to have been taken on a trip to Africa.
The two were photographed from behind, and are seen looking at the sunset while Mrs. Obama has her arms wrapped around her husband and her head resting onhis shoulder.
‘Like the Beatles said: It’s getting better all the time. Thanks, babe, for 27 amazing years!’ he wrote.
Less than an hour later, Michelle posted, too. In her photo, the couple is pictured grinning on a porch near what appears to be a lake, with another sunset in the background.
She wrote: ’27 years ago, this guy promised me a life full of adventure. I’d say he’s delivered.
‘Here’s to our next chapter of becoming empty nesters and discovering what’s next — while still feeling the magic that brought us together all those years ago. Happy anniversary, Barack.’

‘Happy #ValentinesDay to my one and only, @BarackObama,’ the former first lady wrote. ‘To celebrate the occasion, I’m dedicating a little Valentine’s Day playlist to you!’
The list of songs included classics like Ben E. King’s Stand By Me, Barry White’s Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe, and Diana Ross’ Endless Love.
There were also more modern tunes, like Beyonce’s Halo, Janelle Monae’s Primetime, and Adele’s cover of Make You Feel My Love.

And on their anniversary in 2017, Michelle was speaking alongside director and producer Shonda Rhimes at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women when a surprise message from her husband played on the giant screens.
‘Your strength, grace, determination honesty, and the fact that you look so good doing all of this, it’s remarkable,’ he said.
‘It’s no wonder that as people got to know you as I got to know you, that they fell in love. It’s truly the best decision I ever made to be persistent enough to ask you out on a date that you finally gave in and I hope you feel the same way.’
Before the conference, Michelle shared her own message with a shot from their wedding day.

‘You can’t tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold,’ she said.
‘Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night.
‘Twenty five years later, we’re still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals. I can’t imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else.’
