Barack Obama the dad dancer! Former President and Michelle rock out at Beyonce and Jay Z concert

When Beyonce and Jay Z are performing, all eyes are glue to the stage. Unless, that is, Barack Obama is rocking out behind you.

Fans were delighted to spot the former U.S. president unleashing his best dad moves with wife Michelle beside him in a private booth at the FedExField in Landover, Maryland on Saturday.

Throwing their arms in the air, the former first couple were on their feet and clearly loving every moment as their old friends lit up the stage.

They weren’t even put off by the multiple cell phones pointing in their direction, recording every moment.

Obama, 56, and the onetime First lady, 54, danced with friends, behind a glass screen at the stadium, normally home to the Redskins.

Michelle has already enjoyed one gig from Beyonce and Jay’s OTR II tour, attending the Paris date with 17-year-old daughter Sasha earlier in the month.

That time Barack missed out, with Michelle instead joined by Bey’s mother Tina Knowles.

The Obamas are personal friends of both Jay Z and Beyonce, having bonded during Barack’s time in office.

Back in 2012 Michelle complimented Beyonce as the person she would most like to be if she could be anyone else.

In an interview promoting her book American Grown, she told People magazine: ‘I’d be Beyonce. I’d be some great singer… It looks like musicians just have the most fun.’

That same year Barack revealed the two families had known one another for years, explaining his two daughters were huge Beyonce fans.

‘They’re good people,’ he said. ‘Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.’

And Barack even said he gave then first-time father Jay Z advice on his new role.

‘I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with baby Blue Ivy], and not leaving it all with Beyonce and the mother-in-law,’ he explained in the 2012 interview with Colby Colb of Cleveland radio station Z107.9.

As for which Jay-Z songs Obama likes, he is not keen on 99 Problems.

‘I gotta say I go with some other stuff like My First Song, which just kinda keeps me steady. It’s a great song. It reminds you that you always have to stay hungry.’

Beyonce went on to perform at the Presidential inauguration the following year.

As for her husband, last year Jay hailed Barack as the ‘greatest rapper of all time’.

The 47-year-old hip-hop star included him among his biggest career inspirations after being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Concluding a long-winded Twitter post, Jay thanked: ‘The greatest rapper of all time OBAMA . Thank you 44.’Obama was the 44th President.
