Lionel Messi and his Barcelona team-mates showed they are just as stylish off the pitch as they are on it when they once again wore their Thom Browne tailored travel suits for their flight to Italy.

Ernesto Valverde and his team touched down on Monday ahead of their Champions League clash with Inter Milan which saw them don the stylish outfits for their plane journey across Europe.

The Spanish champions recently entered a partnership with the US fashion designer last month, which will see them wear the tailored suits for their European away trips this season.

The suits alone come to a staggering total of £4,200 each and with all 20 players and the manager wearing them, the total cost comes to around £100,000 for just travel gear.

While the suits continue to grab the attention, one thing that will have caught the eye of the Inter Milan fans was Messi’s presence.

The Argentine talisman has been recovering from a broken arm but could be in line to make his return for the match on Tuesday.

It was originally thought that the 31-year-old would miss the fixture but his quick recovery could be a massive blow for the Serie A outfit if he does indeed play.

Inter have won their last seven Serie A games but were comprehensibly beaten 2-0 at the Nou Camp without Messi two weeks ago.

Luis Suarez has been in phenomenal form, bagging a hat-trick in the 5-1 demolition of Real Madrid in El Clasico before popping up with a last-minute winner against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

Barcelona currently lead the group having won all three of their games while Inter are second in the group on six points.
