Barry Hall’s glamorous TV star girlfriend Lauren Brant has joined in on the trash talk before her partner’s highly publicised fight with Paul Gallen in Melbourne.

The 30-year-old labelled Gallen a ‘d***head’ after watching the pre-fight press conference between the two football stars turned bitter boxing rivals.

Gallen continued his relentless trash talk on Wednesday at Crown Promenade ahead of Friday’s bout, with Hall becoming visibly fired up.

‘As we know, Barry has been involved in one of the infamous king hits in AFL footy,’ Gallen said, referencing Hall’s king hit on former West Coast defender Brent Staker.

‘How do you think he’ll go this time when his opponent has the opportunity to fight back?’

Following the press conference, Brant was asked if she’d ever seen Hall as angry at home as he appeared while listening to Gallen’s jibes.

‘If I was as big a dickhead as Paul Gallen he probably would be,’ Brant told The Daily Telegraph, adding that she is ‘not a fan of boxing’.

‘He sure is a unique opponent. I guess he’s trying to get publicity.’

Hall has copped Gallen’s verbal tirade for weeks, including being given the nickname ‘Noodles’ by the former NRL star, and dropped the F-bomb in frustration to Gallen’s chatter during the conference.

Brant is new to the world of boxing and says she isn’t a fan of the sport, but the former Hi-5 star will be ringside to support her partner in the ring on Friday night.

‘As a loving partner it’s going to be hard watching because I’m not a fan of the sport,’ Brant said.

‘He loves it. He’s been shadow boxing around the house since I first met him.’

Hall slammed Gallen’s whinging over the Battle of the Codes fight on Tuesday, after he claimed the bout is set up in Hall’s favour.

Gallen believes Hall is being given a huge advantage before he sets foot in the ring thanks to the bout’s two minute rounds – and the fact it will be held in Melbourne, staunch AFL territory.

Hall has brushed off Gallen’s complaints, telling Wide World of Sports he should ‘stop whingeing, and start fighting.’

The Battle of the Codes will be held at Margaret Court Arena.

The fight with Gallen is Hall's first foray into the boxing world, and he has been training for the bout with Australian boxing legend Danny Green in Collingwood.
