The sister of superstar Australian basketballer Ben Simmons has accused their half brother of molesting her when she was three years old.
Olivia Simmons, a 29-year-old mother and basketball coach from Melbourne, made the startling accusations on Twitter after ‘years of keeping silent’.
She claimed her half-brother, Sean Tribe, 35, began abusing her when she was three and continued to do so for years.
Tribe, who is employed as Simmons’ sports manager in the United States, has strenuously denied the allegations and appears to have the support of his family.
Daily Mail Australia does not suggest there is any truth behind Olivia’s allegations.

In a series of explosive tweets, Olivia alleged she had been putting up a ‘facade… because my brother is famous’.
‘I was molested by my half brother for years from age 3. I’ve been asking for therapy but my family would rather sweep it under the rug because it could damage my brothers brand. I’m over hiding.’
Olivia claimed she had been subjected to seven different surgeries due to damage done to her uterus and internal organs, which she claims supports her allegations.
‘My womb was f**ked,’ she said. ‘I had scar tissue in there… Children who are sexual abuse survivors often have issues with their reproductive system.’

Olivia has been open about her mental health battle, and alleges it stemmed from the alleged abuse she suffered
She also alleged that her mother was aware of the alleged abuse and put her on birth control aged ’10 or 11′ without ever acknowledging Olivia’s accusations.
Tribe is adamant the abuse never took place, instead publicly revealing Olivia suffers from mental health issues and stating that his family’s ‘heart breaks for her’.
He released a statement ‘from our lawyers on behalf of my family’ reiterating that Olivia’s allegations are ‘false’ and ‘deeply saddening’. He encouraged ‘victims of abuse’ to speak up but said ‘this is not what has happened here’.
In return, Olivia agreed she does suffer from mental health issues, in particular post traumatic stress disorder, which she alleges is a direct result of the suffering she endured as a child.
Simmons and Olivia appear to have always shared a close bond, with the latter referring to him as her ‘best friend’ in the past (pictured together)
Olivia has previously described Simmons as her best friend. Back in 2019, she supported Simmons after he publicly claimed he was a victim of racial profiling during a visit to Crown Casino in Melbourne. Pictured: Olivia and Ben when they were children
You can’t paint me out to be crazy. I have PTSD because you molested me,’ she said.
She also questioned who within her family had signed off on the ‘joint family statement’ after her father David claimed he had no idea it existed.
‘My dad isn’t his dad, but he sure does like to use our last name for false statements,’ she said.
‘I spoke to the lawyer my dad placed in Ben’s life and this didn’t come from him.
‘You molested me Sean and no amount of bullsh*t statements will change my story.’
Simmons and Tribe appear to share a close relationship in the United States, where 24-year-old Ben plays for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Olivia and Ben share the same biological parents but have half-siblings from their mother’s first relationship, including Sean Tribe
Just last week, Simmons, who has an estimated net worth of $75million, gifted Tribe a new car for his birthday.
But he and Olivia have always appeared to share a close bond, too.
Back in 2019, she supported Simmons after he publicly claimed he was a victim of racial profiling during a visit to Crown Casino in Melbourne.
He made an Instagram post accusing security guards of treating him differently based on his skin colour – which the casino strenuously denied.
‘My brother doesn’t lie,’ Olivia said at the time.
