BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones finds out she is being impersonated on X-rated dating site

BBC Sport presenter Emma Jones has found out that she is being impersonated on an X-rated dating site with her glamorous pictures used on someone else’s profile.

The 32-year-old pundit, who also works with ViaPlay Sports, has received screenshots of the fake catfish profiles used on website Uberf***y.

She immediately re-shared the findings to her 377,000 followers on Instagram to shut down any speculation that she is on the dating site off her own accord.

Speaking to her following this week, Emma said on her stories: ‘I am also on Uberf***y’, adding two crying emojis to share her feelings on the matter.

Emma added: ‘What is an uberf***y? I don’t want to Google it.’

The dating site is reportedly described as a platform for ‘users to meet local singles’.

After seeing her reposts of the profiles, more fans came forward with their spots of Emma online – including another on Tinder.

The fake page on Tinder showed Emma with the correct name, but with the age 44 – 12 years older than she really is.

Displaying one of Emma’s glamorous pictures as the front of the profile, Emma reposted this to her Instagram stories as well.

She wrote ‘Name’ with a big green tick over the screenshot, with the word ‘age’ underneath – adding a huge red cross and a laughing emoji.

Despite the frustration of her profile being faked online, Emma appeared to take the moment in her stride and find humour in the matter.

Emma, who is a Leeds FC fan, began her career with Leeds TV in 2017, and since has worked on BBC Radio 5 Live, the Netball Nation Podcast and working with the BBC at the 2018 World Cup.

Her Instagram profile shows the 32-year-old sports broadcaster in glamorous outfits and an array of fantastic outfits showing off Emma’s incredible figure.

She gives her followers a glimpse of her life working at live sports events and reporting from the pundit’s chair.

But unfortunately she has faced plenty of demeaning comments about her appearance from unknown users, and on one occasion she called them out.

Writing to a picture of her wearing a spectacular dress, Emma said: ‘Thank you to the overwhelming majority of you who have called out the few misogynists & dinosaurs in the replies to this.

‘Unfortunately it’s usually those people who shout the loudest.

‘I was hosting an awards ceremony & I felt lovely in my new dress, so I wanted to share it.’

Fellow sports broadcaster Laura Woods came to her support in the comments: ‘What some people don’t get is…you’re allowed to be both!

‘You’re smart and you’re beautiful. One shouldn’t and doesn’t cancel out the other.’
